Customer Questions & Answers

Drawer dimensions: tiny & wasteful?

Looking at the specs, I couldn't figure out how a stack of 3 11.75" deep drawers could add up to {25"-[height of feet]}. Clearly, it can't, and one can't plan for the dresser's use without the depth measure in hand. Does the interior of the chest boast supports or some other structural element that impedes drawer closure space by 3.75"? Or is the hardware huge? Sounds like this thing confounds no matter how well one can visalize the specs, but solid wood is so hard to come by... might make a fine miniature-map chest. Just have to find some miniature maps. ;D

Hi 23Jae, I know what you mean about the spec's. However take a look at the installation/assembly guide on the product web page and you will see a good break down of the internal and external parts http://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-Hawthorne-44-in-W-Black-6-Drawer-Dresser-2048900210/203865401#.UnKzbVO4dI0 While they are not the largest drawers I have seen, still makes a nice piece of usable furniture.
