Customer Questions & Answers

The Danbury Vanity says its 32 inches wide, but then specification indicates it's 37 inches. Is this an error or is this actually the correct width?

Asked by: Anonymous
Don't know about the Danbury Vanity, but the Hazelton is approximately 32". D.

When will this item be back in stock?

Asked by: Anonymous
You should contact the Home Decorators Collection. As I understand it, they are the third-party vendor through which The Home Depot offers this item. Their customer service line may be able to give you a date concerning, if and when, this vanity will be back in stock. They and Home Depot also offer the "Lexi" vanity. It has the same basin and basic shape of vanity, but no cabinet or drawer arrangement below the basin. D.

What height does the drain pipe have to be? I don't want to cut into any wood to make the pipes fit.

Asked by: Anonymous
The centerline of the drain pipe at the wall needs to be between 18"-24" from the floor to come through the precut opening in the the rear of the cabinet. The length of the drainpipe from the wall should be between 6"-8" inches to establish a proper connection position under the tailpiece on the sink. There is an adjustable shelf that is pre-cut to accomodate the drain. This can be adjusted up or down through about a 6" range.

Customer Reviews

Hazelton 32 in. W x 18 in. D Vanity in Rubbed Chestnut is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, well made vanity. Needed a small vanity for a small guest bath and the style and quality of this vanity are excellent. Having limited space, the built in towel bar is perfect for a guest bath. The white porcelain one piece top and sink is beautiful. The color is a dark reddish cherry tone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serves the Purpose Needed a vanity for a small, full bathroom on main floor. So being 18 inches deep was a necessity. Received 2 days ago and just unpacked it. It looks beautiful. As another said, the wood workmanship is not perfect but when installed, will not be noticed. I love the sink. I'm glad it has a slight lip around the edge which was not expected bcs it can't be seen on the computer. My sink is white, not ivory-beige/bisque, as in the description and which I would have preferred. But it is not a deal breaker. I like the drawer which was a feature I really wanted. It was very well packed and delivery went well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This vanity has great lines and fits in tight spaces. Love the clean lines of the ceramic top and the wide set faucet feature. Additionally, even though the piece has a narrow profile (18"), there is plenty of room on the top for a nice candle and soap dispenser for guests. The white top contrasts nicely with the wood base and has just the right amount of pizzaz. It's the perfect moderately priced statement piece for a powder room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a small bathroom. This product is exactly what we were looking for. We haven't installed it yet, but we have been very pleased with Home Depot as they refunded us the price difference when the price dropped substantially. I will be a customer for many years to come. Thanks Home Depot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This sink is very stylish and functions well. It was also a very good value comparability for it's quality and design. I find it easy to keep the sink clean and it is just enough room to be very easy to use washing your face or soaking fine clothing. The wood is not a high quality but it doesn't look cheap either. Installation was my only grip. There is not much room left on the top of the cabinet and sink area to get the faucet installed easily. That was a pain. Overall a great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship and quality! I loved the style of this vanity, and designed our bathroom around it, however, I will not keep or install this vanity. It is the second one that i ordered on-line and both have come damaged. The second on is very poor quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice vanity! A little tweeking required. This is a nice looking vanity! The reduced price and free shipping made the choice a no-brainer. It arrived and was very well packed. The delivery guys even put in the garage for me. It was purchased to replace an original cast iron, porclein coated, wall-mounted sink that was manufactured in 1938. The house was built in 1940. Needless to say, it is a huge improvement! Since there was no standardized dimensioning for the plumbing at that time, the back required a larger opening to allow for the water feeds to come in from the wall. Also, the adjustable shelf is probably not going to work in this application. In the middle position, it is situated in the same location as the water feeds coming into the base. This is really not a problem and I will probably remove it to use as much space as possible under the sink. Since my drain is located lower than normal, I am using a flexible J-bend clamp-on for the drain. The spout hardware set that I am using requires a slight bit of grinding on the sink top spout hole due to the "lip" around the basin top and the center pull for the drain "pop-up" location on the spout. A rear set "pop-up" for the spout would solve this, but I really like the hardware I purchased. The description of the vanity has an error, the hardware required is widespread, not centerset. This is obvious upon a close look at the photos. The sink does come with a drain and tailpiece installed. It is a press-to-close "pop-up", so if your hardware set does not come with a drain, you have one. All-in-all, a good fit at a good price. Not "drop-in" but not beyond a good do-it-yourself install. Can't find a serious flaw in this item.
