This hard scraped bamboo flooring cuts clean, easy to assemble, and looks fantastic. In a few hours the floor went from drab and dull to rich looking. The floor is sturdy and has a nice sheen to it. In hindsight, since it is a high traffic area we should have probably should have used a greater hardness level as I did get a scratch in it already. We used Microban Premium Underlay and finished with a high white baseboard.

The bamboo flooring looks great and was easy to install. The finishing touches are challenging, but the overall experience was good!

I cannot speak to the quality of this product as flooring. We installed it as a bar wall back drop for a basement remodel and it looks amazing. We nailed into studs and used some construction adhesive for safe measure. The color and handscraped aspect of it give real richness and character. This is a soft bamboo and will scratch and dent fairly easily, so each person will need to decide for themselves if it is appropriate to install in their situation. For our project it worked well and looks great. For the price, it cannot be beat.

Beautiful color & flooring! Very delicate, I would have gotten a lighter color if I would have known that it was so difficult to maintain clean! My installer had a bit of difficulty installing...

The floor turned out exactly how we had hoped. The only negative thing I can say is that these floors are impossible to keep clean. Very, very high maintenance. Any little bit of dust or shoe print shows up, so I've been wiping the floors up twice a day since they were installed.

Have had it in our Dining Room, Living Room and Foyer for a few weeks. It really looks great. I had a friend who knew more than me about the install and he did a very thorough job. We used 30# felt and lauan plywood under it. Our floors are surprisingly level in this 1918 house, so that wasn't an issue. He used a high quality floor nailer and the recommended nails from the instructions. He and I worked out the start point on a long wall in the Dining Room, but were a little off as the joint was a bit closer to one wall than the other, but aesthetically that was not really an issue, as there were other spots that would have been different as we went from room to room.
It's really important to figure out the details of how you want to handle door casing intersections, etc. before hand. It's all laid the same direction, so that was easier and it looks great that way. Had a small elevation transition (1/8") from Living Room to Foyer because there was existing VCT over luaun in the Foyer and we worked that out with graduated thicknesses of the felt over a 16" distance. You can't even tell, although I know it's there.
Originally planned to take it through the Kitchen and Powder Room, but got cold feet. Think we'll stick with the VCT a while longer in there.
Overall very satisfied with the finished look!

I do like this product however I would not recommend for a commercial high traffic area, you would need a higher hardness to guarantee it will look good for the floor lifetime. For a restaurant or any high traffic commercial application, I would go with a product with hardness level of 5 to shield from scratches and scrapes from tables and chairs. An Engineering Hardwood may be a better choice over bamboo in terms of durability.
