Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Familyman looks great
Used HD free home delivery for 2 fans and both arrived within 5 days in good condition. Assembly is very easy. The control switch that is included can be confusing to program if you have more than one of these fans. We have six in our house and each switch needs a separate code. Looks great in our family room and you can't tell the blades are made of plastic and not wood. Six speeds, high speed moves some serious air.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FamofLove Amazing Size, Amazing Fan
This fan is amazing! Its big and works great. I can put on 1 and be cooled down immediately. The only time we put the fan on 4-6 is during a workout session. We like it so much that we put a second one in our loft. Just make sure you calibrate each fan separately if desire they work independently of one another. The led shines more downward but we have task lighting so it doesnt bother us. Also the light is dimmable. The fan is abs plastic but it looks realistic once installed and we have standard 8 foot ceilings! We love it and highly recommend it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eagle199 Awesome Fan!
I absolutely love this fan with its 72" blades, 6 operating speeds and dimable LED light. The operation of the fan is extremely quiet and there is no wobble even at a high speed with a 36" downrod. It really moves the air! Installation did not appear difficult and my installer made no mention of it as they installed the fan on my vaulted ceiling. I consider this purchase to be a great value for the price and I highly recommend!

Quiet, very efficient and nice looking. I also ordered the hand remote for sixteen dollars from Home Depot parts department and it works great. It works in unison with the wall control.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TexasSizedFan Great Outdoor Ceiling Fan
I purchased this 72" fan to replace a smaller fan on our rear porch that wasn't moving enough air. Living in Texas you really need a fan that is capable of moving a lot of air in the summer time if you want to be able to enjoy yourself outside. This fan moves a lot of air, it has six speed settings and the led light kit has a dimming function. Initially I was concerned because this fan is much more contemporary than the fans in rest of our home. It actually looks like one of those big industrial fans that you see at the big chain stores like COSTCO, and it really moves the air. My concerns were put to rest as soon as I turned it on and felt the amount of air it circulated, and it actually looks better than I expected.

We have a large living room, I have to say I'm glad the old fan crumped out because this one is so much better at moving air. I was not sure about the contemporary style but it looks great and is much different from the norm. Installation was easy, especially since it fit into my old ball mount, as a tip make sure you read the part about programming the remote. It's very quiet, the LED light is surprisingly bright and it was balanced right out of the box. In fact it does not even come with a balance kit and that was a first.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by texbot Great DC Motor Fan for the money but has quirks you should know
This ended up being a huge ordeal to install for me with 30 foot vaulted ceiling. Lots of install problems I ran into putting this thing in. This fan does not have normal provisions for wire connections as the traditional fans where u pull the wires down through the fan. It only has 2 small 16 gauge wires. If u have a vaulted ceiling with a long down rod, they expect you to stagger and bend the wire nuts back up through the down rod for your wire connections. Hard to do as I found out with a 3/4" down rod diameter. There is barely enough room to get the wires through much less trying to bend wire nuts back up where the fan attached to the long down rod. Do it right from my mistake and buy a 1" down rod that fits it right. I also could not take up the wire slack in the long down rod after I made the wire connection as the wires were tangled up in the jbox at the ceiling. I ended up having to rent a one man genie lift to get to the top of the ceiling and take the whole thing down. I reassembled it on the floor, soldered my wire connections with heat shrink tubing so they could be straight and was finally able to get it installed with the smaller 3/4" down rod. Also as I have been reading other reviewers, the remote control for this thing needs to be explained better in the description. The remote control that comes with this fan with the walnut wood grain blades, is made only for a wall switch hooked up to the 120 volt. However, it does not need the 120 volt to work as it has a little battery in it , so u can use it like a remote control, but you are going to have wires sticking out loose. Its really silly to do this. All this does when mounted with 120 volt is make and break the hot lead . The self contained battery wireless remote is separate. My advice is to buy the remote control from the Silver /nickle finish fan as is what everyone is expecting and mount the control with this fan into the wall to have 2. I do like the fan though. It pulls only 3 to 4 amps at full speed. That is awesome. SO the DC motors are worth it so far I guess. It is yet to be determined how long they will last. The flow is great. Much more then my old 52 inch. The flow pattern does spread out nicely , not just straight down under the fan, but most of the flow is underneath. My couch is not underneath the fan and I can keep it on a very slow setting and still have a perfect nice gentle breeze. Dont think about getting brighter bulbs for the light, or anything else for that matter as it only will accept the small leds that come with it. While its fairly bright , it is a soft white and I wish it was brighter. My light also has a slight hum to it when it is very quiet , and just enough to be annoying. I never use it so far. Would not let me upload a video I made and I hate you tube.
