This bowl was purchased to sit on a new cabinet to tie in with a painting of a Southwest Landscape. The unique design of the bowl looks more like stone in its current unfinished state, and looks fantastic with the painting. I'm still trying to decide whether to add teak oil, or leave as is. But, it was such a great buy on sale, and is just what was needed for that space!

After ten years of looking at the same centerpiece on my livingroom coffee table, I got online and made my first home decor purchase! I recieved the Macaque teakwood vase and at first was puzzled! After going to my local home improvement store, I solved my problem. Teakwood oil was recommended. I have applied several applications and now my vase is breathtaking!

This vase looks beautiful filled with some dried reeds. The teak is sanded smooth on the outside and its weight is substantial enough that I don't have to worry about it tipping over. Lovely piece, well worth the purchase.

I really liked the very rough crafted look of the bowl. Buying more. Note that the wood is not stained or oiled in any way and you might want to use teak oil on them to show more of the grain.
