The shelves had a tendency to lean forward. We had to put pieces of cardboard as a shim behind the shelf to make it level. Otherwise we liked the product.

I needed these shelves for a narrow wall in a small bathroom. They are well made, very pretty, and fit perfectly.

I purchased these floating wall shelves to display photos from trips we have taken. The shelves are very narrow, which is what I wanted, and was having trouble finding. They work really well for displaying the photos... I am able to change and move photos around without leaving nail holes in wall!! May need to get some more for other areas of the house! I do wish they came in a lighter brown...the chocolate is very dark and I would have preferred a bit lighter. Not too difficult to hang, just need a level and some patience!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MissB The quality is just OK but they're really cute on the wall
I was looking for a shelf that could give me the front facing book look and still have room for little nicknacks. This shelf depth is perfect for that and it has the little ledge. I ordered them online despite the reviews. When they came they were a bit imperfect, some of the seams had small gaps. I put them up anyway because I have a baby and I just don't have time for perfection. I LOVE the way they look and I don't even notice the imperfections. I would totally order them again because it's hard to find this type of shelf, believe me I've looked, they are either too narrow or too deep. I also think the seams could easily be filled.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by learning It's OK, but needs to be fixed! No time for that.
This floating shelf is a very nice design, with just the right dimensions for my wall. But I agree with others that it needs to be caulked and finished a bit nicer. Another problem that I have is that the small lip that keeps things from falling off appears to have been glued on...and the glue is not holding...so that small piece needs to be attached somehow. I don't have time to fix this shelf, so it needs to go back.

We bought this to display a vintage Lionel train. It worked out good because the wheels of the train fit over the little rail on the front. If the shelf had been wider we wouldn't have been able to show the wheels. The color had a little red tint to it. I tried to darken it with some Old English scratch cover but the finish wouldn't take it; but it is close enough to the color I wanted. There were two extra holes in the back like someone drilled the holes in the wrong spot. It all worked out. It's cute and I look seeing the train wheels.

For this price, I would have expected better quality. These are ok for a home office or kids room. They are made with two pieces of wood plus the little lip to keep things from slipping off. They did not use any caulk along the seams between the boards so there was a small but visible gap which made the shelf look cheap. I used a bead of caulk myself to make it look more finished. There were also areas that were not sanded well and had some rough splinters. The floating design is achieved with keyhole mounts which is difficult to work with on the longer shelves, especially if they are not perfectly straight, which mine was not. The keyhold design also means you can't put much weight on them. I'm keeping them because they fit the size and style I wanted for a home office, and while not perfect, they do function as intended.
