Mission Style Black Wine Convertible Lounge is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this I bought this a few years back to go into my 425 sq ft apt. To make the cushion a little sturdier, I removed the cover and wrapped an eggcrate mattress topper around it and I also sew, so was able to make a new cover to go around it. And also because I sew, I made several different covers to go with the seasons, (ie: denim for summer, a deep red stripe for winter.) I love this little piece of furniture as it is so versatile. Wrapping the eggcrate around it really makes a difference. If you sew (or know someone who sews) you can make a whole wardrobe for it, even the pillow covers. I also sewed ties into the side seams to tie around the frame so it won't slide when you have only one side up. I'm short and don't find it difficult to get up from, and have oftentimes dozed off on it and find it is very comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Quite as Pictured; Problem with Cover The unit is cute and was easy to assemble. The adjustable arms rise and lower easily. The cushion is comfortable for sleeping for a relatively small person. However, the frame is orange in color, not the rich brown in the picture. Also, the cover is not of very good quality. My 9 year-old nephew spilled a soda, so I washed it in cold water on the slow cycle and then we hung it on the line to dry. The cover shrank a LOT and in a couple places, the seams are splitting. Additionally, it was very difficult to fit the cushion back inside the cover and I'm concerned about how long it will be before the seams just give up altogether.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from sofa seeker This is definitely an issue of you get what you pay for. You can't beat the price and it was perfect for what we wanted--a small extra seating arrangement in a bedroom. The bonus was that it can be turned into a bed for extra guests---whom we have often. The wood is nice but I have two nitpicks: 1. pillows are definitely not as deep and plush as picture indicates. 2. on edge of each rail are warning stickers not to sit on the ledge...duh..the stickers are hard to pull off --and if you do succeed, you end up removing some of the varnish and wood stain in the process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Bright Spot of Color I purchased the chair to use in my office. Its looks are striking; the design is ingenious. I am a researcher/writer so I wanted a reading chair that would add a spot of color to my very drab office and allow me to put my feet up while reading. It is comfortable although I would vote for the cushions to be a little fluffier. Assembly was quick and easy--less than 20 minutes for a not particularly handy human. I initially was disappointed in the synthetic-ness of the fabric (I expected a cotton canvas) but find that it is not a problem in actual use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Piece for Small Space I love the idea of this small lounger because it fits in my 900 something sq ft apartment! I didn't want anything too big to conserve space and I definitely think this was a great buy. I wish that there were more choices for the cushion colors or even cushion covers would be nice. Based on reading other people's reviews, I am afraid to wash it, and if I do, it would either be dry clean as directed or drying without the dryer! I was weary this piece would be flimsy or fall apart but definitely not the case, and the dogs love it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convertilbe Longe I bought two of those for my sunroom. They are perfect for the purpose. I would not want to use them in a living room as a sitting furniture, though. The upholstery fabric is very similar to what used for outdoor furniture. It just does look as it advertised - LOUNGE furniture. It looks nice for the money paid. I want to praze the Customer Service for resolving the issues effectively. One of the wooden parts was damaged and I received a replacement without questions asked, in about 10 days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money This is not worth the price. It's really about a $200 item, if that. The cushion is very thin, not like in the picture at all. And (my own fault) I didn't realize until I got it that it only has a load capacity of 175 lb. Thus, it cannot be used as a love seat (as someone mentioned in a review), unless both people are ultra petite. The wood is not hardwood, which was immediately apparent when I assembled it, and the wood gladly gave in to the screwhead the way softwood does. The pillows are also very thin. I really thought for the price I was getting a real piece of furniture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our favorite new piece of furniture We needed a loveseat to finish off our living room, and this works perfectly. It was easy to put together, and the lounge and futon functionality is awesome! It makes a great reading spot, and I've napped on it more than once. Our cats love it too - the cushions do show cat hair, but the vacuum cleaner fixes that easily. I'm planning to eventually cover the pillows in other fabric, as the fabric it has is a bit rough (but durable and washable). I was torn between this loveseat and a more sophisticated one, and chose this one for the multi functionality. It's definitely not going to fit in with super high-class decor (it has more of a casual vibe), but it's reasonably cute and has become our favorite piece of furniture!
