We needed a slim bookcase for my daughter's nursery and this is one of the few I could find. It's easy to assemble, and sturdy. My one gripe is that the back board is a slightly different color to the rest of the piece but once the bookcase is dressed with books, toys etc. this is hardly noticeable.

solid, and easy to construct. keep in mind they can not be placed side by side due to overhanging top. hardware was complete, well marked, and had extras. good instructions

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by amanda alittle pricey but great quality
The bookcase was easier to assemble than I thought with excellent instructions. It comes with everything you need and I had it installed in less than an hour. Worth the price!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ACNO Overall pleased
The bookcase arrived timely, took about an hour to put together, and looks great in a nursery. It looks professional, however, the screw holes in the back didn't perfectly line up when putting it together.

It's a bookcase, plain and simple. Heavy to move about. Very overpriced for what you get.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jeff Good book shelves for a compact space
These are good book shelves for a compact space. The materials feel solid. The shelves can support a good amount of weight. When the shelves arrive, there was a gash in one of the shelves appearantly created during shipping, but fortunately it is in the back. You put it together yourself and the structure is dependent on cam bolts to hold it together. Those cam bolts can sometimes be a little tricky to work with. I was not able to get all of the "wobble" out of the shelves. Nevertheless it is a good product for the price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BeachWife Shelves Are Not As Deep As Bookcase
The bookcase was fairly easy to assemble. It took my husband and me, using a power drill, about 90 minutes. It mounts to the wall with anchors or screws in studs. It seems very secure and I don't think it will fall in an earthquake.
The instructions tell you to put the shelves in before you mount the bookcase to the wall which is silly. You'll need to move the bookcase into position and the lighter, the better. Once mounted the the wall, you can place the shelves as you load.
I got the 36" wide bookcase. The depth of the case is 13.5" but the depth of the shelves is about 11-1/2. I was looking for shelves deeper than 12" and ended up with shallower ones! There are many bookcases with shelves that are 12" deep so be aware that the shelves are shallower than you might think.
Lastly, while the manufacturer supplies some spare parts, somehow we were shorted half the screws we need to install the back of the bookcase. We had lots of screws at home so it was no problem.
The bookcase looks nice and we are using it for supplies in an office. We go it in white so it's a bit utilitarian. It might look more like fine furniture if it were in wood.
