I suppose they are what I should have expected for the price. Assembly was easy enough, but I ordered six of them, so it became arduous. As I feared while building them, they are lighter and not substantial as dining room chairs. I should have spent the extra money and ordered elsewhere. I love the fabric which is why it was sad to see it butchered and torn in the construction of them. When budget allows, I'll be replacing them.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Saramara Parsons Chair
I bought this to replace a leather Parsons Chair that had begun to peel. This chair is smaller lighter in weight, and less well constructed than the one I replaced. It's at a desk in a seldom used room so the quality will be "okay". Only time will tell if it will peel also. Considering the cost I didn't expect a fine piece of furniture; therefore, I got what I paid for. I would recommend this chair to a friend, but for light use.

This chair is a decent value... the fabric and colors are nice, pretty much as pictured so we like that. The workmanship is pretty poor though, the way it was put together, the entire back of the chair the stripes don't match up. and you can see white stitching all crooked.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kathygpie Would buy again
I read all the reviews before purchasing these chairs. I also did some research on "recycled leather"....it is not vinyl, which was a big concern of mine. They arrived earlier than expected and were boxed with GREAT care. The box was very thick and each piece was wrapped in styrofoam wrap..the legs were nested in styrofoam cups, and all the screws and nuts were accounted for. Directions were easy to follow...took about 20-30 minutes per chair. Did find on two chairs that each had one leg slightly shorter than the rest. Easy remedy...added a foot protector on the bottom. For the money, they were better than I expected. Would definitely buy again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JessieC Good Value but Assembly Improvement Needed
Chair was affordable and good quality for the money paid. However, assembly was harder than expected. 2 of the 9 screws were extremely hard to tighten by hand. The holes were lined up propery but perhaps the holes weren't drilled properly/deep enough. It took a long time to tighten these 2 screws by hand using the allen wrench provided. I was able to hand tighten all of the other screws easily and only needed the allen wrench to tighten the last few turns. I remember thinking how glad I was that I had only ordered 1 chair as a trial since it would have taken hours to assemble the six chairs I was thinking of buying if they all had the same issue.

Had been looking for one of these chairs for a while and this one is perfect. Very easy to put together and looks great in our room.

The appearance and sturdiness of these chairs seems very good; however, I wish I had known that they were made in China. I would have had second thoughts about buying them.

We had a small budget and have been looking for contemporary seating for our dining room for several months. Our walls & floor are grey so the color of all fabrics really needed to pop. I was thrilled to find a chair so reasonably priced with clean lines & purple upholstery. It looks wonderful on the orange rug. One thing that surprised me was that the chairs are somewhat light weight. It might just be that I'm comparing them to our old oak chairs. Light weight isn't necessarily bad- the oak ones were hard to move. These chairs have good support across the underside of seat; something our old ones didn't have. I'm very pleased.
