I love this bench for the hallway. It's the perfect size to throw my work bag on when I get home or sit and throw on shoes or just pile stuff on that I need by the door to take with me - dry clean, etc. It works. I ordered a cushion to be made for the top of it b/c it's more comfy and looks better. Custom Cushions is where I got it from and I ordered it in the Ginko green, 37"x13". I originally tried to order 37"x12" and it was too small and had to order a second one that properly fits, so if you order a cushion make sure the size is 37"x13". Anyway, I did have to sand down parts of the side pieces so it would snap into place while putting it together. There was a moment I wasn't sure it would work but then finally it did. The bench is sturdy. Great size. Functional.

I bought this bench because I needed a narrow bench to fit a specific space. Since this bench fit all the parameters, I bought it. Delivery was fast. It was easy to put together. The quality is just average...you might find the same quality at Ikea. However, it seems sturdy enough...some other reviews made me a little wary...but unless you're regularly having really large people using it, it should be fine. Might not be the best bench for the money, but I just needed something that fit certain measurements and sometimes it's hard to find just the right thing. I'm happy with my purchase and don't mind the price because it worked.

I bought two of these benches; an ivory one to go by the front door, and a black one to go in our mud room. Both areas have limited space, and I was looking for something that was simple and not too expensive. I am very happy with these benches. They were fairly easy to assemble, and are sturdy. We have had them for a couple of months now without problems.
My only (tiny) concern is that some of the little pieces that cover the screw holes can fall out with moving the bench. This could be easily fixed with some glue, but I haven't even bothered to do that. Otherwise they are finished very nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ECJJC Very nice - good bang for the buck. It was simple to put together and is just what I was looking for. I am using it as a coffee table - I wanted a table but it could not be real deep so at 13.5 inches, this is perfect!
Thanks for a great product - would definitely recommend to my friends.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hales Perfect bench for a narrow entryway
I recently purchased the Mission Bench for my entryway which is no more than a glorified hallway. I needed a bench that was large enough for guests to sit on to put on their shoes, but narrow enough to maintain the flow of the hallway. I really lucked out finding the Mission Bench. I met all of my needs, was super easy to assemble, and is quite sturdy. I would definatley recomend this bench to anyone.

I bought this for my dining room and could not be happier with this purchase. My only complaint is the wood plugs (to hid the screws) do not stay in place (without glue). Not that big of a deal, but I like the finished look with them in place.

LOVE the bench...it's perfectly plain, looks good everywhere. The bench was packed SO well and was easy to put together. The price was amazing for what you get, it is not a junky piece of furniture at all, it's quality:)
We enjoy it every day...

The bench arrived quickly and we're very pleased with the finish and style. It was a bit difficult to assemble since one of the pegs where the side legs fit was slightly off and we had to sand it before it would slide into place. Otherwise the assembly would have been extremely easy and quick. Exactly what we were looking for, and overall pleased with the purchase.
