This attractive media Fireplace mantel was designed to add ambiance and warmth to your space. The open center shelf has integrated wire management for your media components. Each of the side cabinets has glass inserts with metal mullion overlays, as well as three adjustable shelves. The shelves are reversible; the flat side for storing media, and a notched side to store and display your favorite bottles of wine. The 2 drawers provide additional storage for odds and ends.

It comes in a box. You must assemble it.

Assembly is required. Easy directions to follow. The top half comes assembled. You put together the bottom half and put the doors on. Fireplace comes ready to just drop in. I do not know what they charge to assemble this item.

Ordered this online and had it delivered to the store. First the negatives:
1. Upon opening the box the one drawer piece was completely busted off (see picture). We plan on contacting the manufacturer to see about receiving a replacement part, but based on other reviews, I'm not looking forward to it.
2. There was a huge gouge in one of the doors but it fortunately was on the inside so you can't see it unless you open the door or you look from the back of it (see picture).
3. Had to create new holes in order for the cabinet doors to mount flush. I saw another customer had the same issue as well.
4. We were shorted 8 of the brackets that hold up shelves inside the cabinets.
Now for the positives:
1. It arrived to the store within a week of ordering online.
2. Assembly was pretty easy and the instructions were clear.
3. The look of the product is very elegant and high quality (with the exception of the broken drawer).

This console was everything I expected and wanted for my winter home in Texas. I am a 65 year old woman, and I assembled the product myself. Quality material, and the fireplace is lovely. I have received so many compliments on this console, and one friend thought the fire was real. I would highly recommend this product.

I got home from work and found a 200lb box in my front yard. My husband and I opened it outside and carried it in piece by piece and started the assembly. We got it all together and it looked fabulous! I love the look of the piece and the fire portion. However I am not happy with the heat it puts out. It says it will warm a room up to 1000sq ft, my room is about 400 and the thermostat is on the opposite wall. I have it set for 72 degrees all the time and the warmest my thermostat says is 68......overall I would not spend the money on it again. As a decorative piece its great but as for the warming not good.

I love this fireplace. It is exactly what I wanted for my living room. It took my son a couple hours to assemble and there were a few glitches in the pieces that he had to adjust. Like we got 2 of the same side doors but he just moved the magnet closure and it worked on the other side. One of the drawers was tweeked a little but he was able to move the track for it and level it out. Over all for a some assemble required item it is very nice.

Cosmetically the unit looks good and the fireplace operates as it should. The problems are the two drawers are pre-installed and they are not level at all, some of the hardware was damaged so I had to use extra screws I had laying around. They give you more than enough shelves, but they are very tight if all installed and the unit will not hold large electronics. I also had to take apart the pre-installed panels on the back because I could not get the bottom panels to fit. Screw holes are not pre-drilled and some of the particle board split. Decent unit for the price range. Installation takes about an hour and a half.

Reason for the 4 stars...packaging not thought out, so some items were damaged. I could fix most myself, but I had to have on drawer replaced (completely cracked and broken ) due to lack of packing materials - weight cracked it.. Not great when you have to fix a couple of places on a BRAND NEW ITEM... and replace a part!
Replacing it was not the an easy thing... Home Depot people were nice but not efficient.. so I had to order it twice...tracking process nil- follow up emails looked like spam, since there were no identifiers??? really in this day and age - finally arrived unmarked .... My other choice was to bring the whole thing back to the Home Depot... they (CS) were not as helpful as I would have liked...
Fireplace itself is GREAT, looks good- Fire "look" is neat and adjustable... perfect heater to supplement and/or instead of Central Heating... love it!

we ordered this on line December 23rd. We picked it up at the store a week later. While putting it together it had a lot of scratches. They include a crayon to color scratches. But the top part was crushed in the corner. We call the manufacture and was told they would replace the part. Then we needed to send pictures. We did that. They said it was shipping out the top part to us. Two weeks later we ask again as it is sitting in our living room, not put together because we need the top part replaced. Then I was told it will be here on 1/25. Now I am told it wasn't shipped, It was shipped on the 28th of January and can take 3 weeks to get here! I will never order another product online from Home Depot. I am tired of my living room looking like garbage because I have parts and boxes all over. Very angry and frustrated!
