The rug will not lie flat following removal from the tightly rolled packaging. I like the rug's appearance otherwise, so am trying to flatten using weight before returning to store.

I expected black as described. It is black and lots of tan. Description and color in ad are very off. Just FYI. Sending it back. Inconvenient.

This rug is somewhat more substantial than other brands of indoor/outdoor rug I have seen. Appearance is very nice and looks good enough to use indoors in my waterfront home. I bought several sizes for use in my entry, kitchen and inside several doors leading outside and to the garage. Rugs have been a little slow to relax after being rolled for shipping but they should eventually lay completely flat. I added high quality rubber rug pads to keep the rugs in place and provide cushioning. Very pleased!

Perfect rug for my desk area. Desk chair rolls easily on the low pile. Very soft on bare feet but at the same time the weave is tight so appears quite durable . Definitely needs a rug pad to reduce sliding on bare floors. I like the idea that when it gets dirty I can take it outside and hose it off.

The carpet is attractive and lays nicely on our portico. Haven't owned it through a summer season yet to determine how well it wears.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ChoosyDecorator Finally, rugs I did NOT return
I went to every other store (in person and online) that I could think of, because I just didn't think of Home Depot as a place to buy area rugs. I returned the others because of their colors or bathroom-appearance or fringe (I imagined a tangled mess after washing). I'm using these in the kitchen, below every counter space and the sink, in order to protect my somewhat fragile "hardwood" floors. I do have thin rubber rug pads beneath them to keep them from sliding. The rugs are NOT cushy, but I'm using them to protect my floors, not my feet. The wrinkles flatten out when I stand and walk on them, so I've flipped them around to get to all areas. The colors are medium gray and true white, but the white gets muted because it's not prominent. My cabinets are white, and the beige tones I tried previously just didn't look right. I have a nice new house, and was worried that these would look and feel cheap because they're indoor/outdoor, but unless someone gets on the floor to examine and touch them, no one can tell. They're understated and both inconspicuous AND good-looking, if that makes any sense. And so inexpensive! If, someday, I find another perfect gray to go with my granite countertops, I might buy them instead, but I really like the look of these, the price, and the durability -- washing with a hose outside instead of in the washer and dryer will be so easy.

This rug is just perfect for our screened porch. The green is a very pretty, cheerful color. I wouldn't recommend it for indoor use, but it is just right for outdoor use.
