This seems to be a good umbrella - we chose red and I am happy with the color. It is fairly easy to install in our patio table, just follow the directions. When you open the umbrella and want it to tilt, just keep turning the crank and it will tilt. Took me a few minutes to figure that out. Kept stopping too soon. I used a 35 pound base, but I just used this over the weekend and it was a little windy. The umbrella kept turning in the wind, so then it was not blocking the sun properly. However, when we tightened the knob so it would not turn, the wind nearly tipped over the whole table (which is not a large table). I think this would be fine with a heavier table and/or heavier base. May go with 50 lbs. But so far I am happy with it.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sixteen Is this Sunbrella?
The construction is somewhat flimsy plastic, and the cover which is supposed to be Sunbrella is not at all like my Sunbrella chairs. The cover is a light-weight canvas, and the shipping ticket describes it as canvas. The hole in the canvas that fits over the pole is rough-cut and unfinished, and will tear. There are no instructions as to how to get the umbrella to tilt. I had to discover this by reading other product reviews on this site. Overall, this item is very much over-priced.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Winchestergirl A bit flimsy
The color options were great, the assembly was pretty easy, the mechanics work very, very easily, but overall thought the fabric and materials a bit flimsy. While the price was better than most other umbrellas I had considered, I was a bit disappointed w/ the plastic finial at the top, the thinness of the material, and the plastic of the the arms. I kept both that I ordered, but would have like the umbrellas to be a bit more substantial for the price.

So happy I read a review about how to tilt the umbrella. My husband was packing it up to return because it would not tilt. There were no instructions with the order. You have to keep winding the umbrella up until it seems like it will break it then presto- it tilts. We really like it. Gave it a 4 because the pole is cheap looking (imitation wood).

I purchased this umbrella for an umbrella stand that we already had on our deck. It goes very well with our outdoor decor and we love the tilt feature since we like to sit on our deck at different hours of the day. I also liked the fact that you could select the type of pole color/finish, so we were able to match the umbrella to our specifications exactly. We're hosting a BBQ at our house this weekend, so it came just in time!

After going through an unpleasant experience with a different online patio umbrella dealer, I found these umbrellas and purchased two for my patio. They arrived promptly and in perfect condition, the frames and the covers were shipped separately. They are well constructed, very easy to assemble and operate. And a real bonus is that they are made in the USA, unlike the other retailer's which were made in China.

Nice umbrella but we didn't realize the pole was plastic until received...we should have asked prior to ordering. Also, the hole at the top of the umbrella is ruggedly cut and not finished so it can easily tear as "run" as time goes on..We had to use a product to finish the edges and it was messy and left stains all over top of umbrella...frustrating..hole should have finished edge.

What a product, it was easy to assemble, the fabric is very sturdy and the poles are well constructed. It was nice to pick the color we wanted for the poles and it was also nice to have such a selection to choose from for the umbrella fabric design. The auto crank feature is great, no more pinching fingers trying to push in buttons to tilt the umbrella. Thanks again for a product well done.
