I was looking for a inexpensive "furniture look" pedestal to use for a speaker stand for my home theater system. This pedestal was much less expensive than specialty speaker stands and it looks terrific. The package arrived in just two days and was well packed to prevent any damage during shipment. The only slight "negative" is the color of the finish. This is described as cherry and is a bit brighter than your usual cherry furniture finish. The color depicted on the website is very close to actual color--so if you are trying to match the more traditional cherry finish, you might consider selecting the warm brown finish. This is my second purchase from this company. I highly recommend them.

I purchased this 30 inch pedestal stand in the warm brown color, which is a lovely shade of chestnut. The wood grain is very attractive. I have transitional decor with hints of Art Deco and this pedestal fits perfectly with the overall look. It is proudly displaying a 35 year old Christmas cactus that was formerly relegated to the floor in a corner of my living room. It is now sitting on its own "throne" where it belongs, and I can't wait to see it when it blooms in December! It is a well-made product at an excellent price; you won't regret adding this pedestal to your home.

needed a stand to display two raven sculptures - these were perfect. The cherry color is - as some have pointed out - on the red side, but that matched beautifully our red-stained screened porch where we are displaying them. If meant to blend with cherry furniture, the warm brown might be better, but this worked perfect for us. They look beautiful and the tapered design is perfect for the sculptures. Good quality, super easy assembly, and arrived right on time! Also the 42" height is really nice for sculptures, as it puts them at eye level and provides an elegant base.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by StoneCarverCat Good Artist's Pedestal, need more choices
Wish somebody in the USA would produce this nice product for this price or even a bit more. I would buy them. I bought the 42" (only other option was 30"). At one time more heights were available in both the taper and straight side. a 36" (counter height) is more versatile. I am a stone carving artist and instructor and these sturdy pedestals are ideal to display finished pieces meant to be viewed from all sides. Finish is very smooth and not too glossy. Hope more sizes and stateside sources become available soon.

When we took it out of the box everyone in the office loved it. It was just as I saw on the website. It was easy to put together and it looks great. The only issue was finding the screws to put the base together. It wasn't taped to the base they were loose in the box and had to turn the box upside down (really I had to go inside the box to fish it out. LOL

Pedestal is as stunning as the art it displays. Cherry color is rich and true to the onsite sample. Assembled in five minutes. Structure is sturdy and design trains your eye up to the art as it should.

Everything about this display stand/sculpture base/tapered pedestal is just right. Good height brings sculpture to just about eye level, the taper uprights draws t your eye up and the base becomes graceful instead of boxy. The finish, which I worried about is just right-a furniture finish, not glossy but very smoothe. Looks expensive and classy. Arrived quickly without any damages or scratches. One minute assembly to attach the base. I couldn't be more pleased.

I just needed a modern/sleek piece of furniture--either pedestal or skinny table--to be used in a tight corner as a lamp table. And, if you are familiar with Van Teal lighting, you will agree, that they are each a little piece of art!
I actually ordered the black and painted it a metallic silver, then brushed it with sandpaper for an aged effect.
It does the job. Sorry that I cannot get a really good pic from my stupid phone!
