This chair is great if you're mainly trying to get something that looks nice in your house, but don't plan to really sit on it. It is SO hard and uncomfortable. The back is sort of hollow so the fabric/cardboard/plastic buckles when you lean on it.
Assembly is easy enough, but I have to make extra holes in the fabric so the screws can go through. The oatmeal floral pattern is as shown in the description.
Overall I'm ok w/ the chair b/c I got it so my husband can put his clothes on it (rather than all over every other surface) in the bedroom and don't plan to sit on it much. But if you are looking for comfortable seating, this isn't it!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SSP1955 Perfect for me in every way
I had been looking at this chair for some time, but wasn't sure it would fit in the spot I had for it. Also, after reading some of the other reviews I was a bit hesitant to purchase it. Then it went on sale and one of the fabric choices was a perfect blend with the other items in the room it would be in. I took a chance and am very pleased with my choice. I had trouble with only one of the pre-drilled holes. Otherwise, everything lined up and it was fairly easy to assemble. It is a little "stiff", but I need the firm support, so I can't complain about that. Most importantly, it fits the spot I had for it, and it looks fabulous with the décor of the room. I am really happy with my purchase.

We had a formal wood dining room set--the chairs were very hard, heavy and uncomfortable. We purchased these chairs with the Metro Dining Table and the set looks great together.
Our handyman put the chairs together, so I can't speak to assembly ease or difficulty.
At first the chairs were very hard in the seat, but they have softened up. The back hits you in just the right place and is nicely padded.
We got them in the Spice fabric, which is beautiful---has a little more red in it than expected, but still works great. The patterns on the chairs are symmetrical and sewn on very nicely.
We LOVE these chairs and we find ourselves lingering at the table much longer because of them.

The color was not as dark as expected, but it's pretty. Assembly was easy. Trick is to start screws by hand, then start tightening screws by skipping around, just like when tightening a tire on a car. Don't do one screw tight at a time. It lined up fine. One chair is slightly wobbly. I bought 4, and they are uniform. Pretty decent seams. The fabric underneath doesn't show if you stretch it tight while fastening to the velcro. Seat is firm, but comfortable. Been using the chairs about 2 weeks in a medical office, and no one has complained. Overall, a very decent chair for this very inexpensive price.

Fabric is dark gray and light beige (not white). Legs are dark espresso. We have ordered several chairs & a couch from here before and this is the only product we were a little disappointed in the quality. The way the chair back cushion was finished off looked like a novice did it. Luckily it's not visible once assembled. There was a hairline crack in the wood cross brace. I followed the manufacturer instructions filling out a form online and no questions asked the replacement is being delivered today. It has a firm cushion which is good for me since I use as a desk chair. Like others said, insert all screws and tighten each a little at a time. If you tighten one then move on to the next, it won't work! But, if you can't even insert the screws, get a replacement, drill or return!

relatively easy to assemble. Much easier than other furniture I had ordered online in the past! Looks great and comfortable to sit on, does not feel flimsy. Arrived in good shape

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jacbrich Nice chairs but difficult to put together
The chairs are really quite nice, extremely attractive (I bought the cement color) and comfortable to sit in. But while one chair went together very easily, the other did not have the holes lined up for the bolts to attach the seat, and it was terribly frustrating to put it together. Took over an hour and it is supposed to be rather easy assembly. Maybe it was just this one chair but be aware that the fabric gets caught on the bolts when trying to attach chair to back and the holes may not make for easy attachment.

I selected the Vincent Retro Chair for use in my guest bedroom as a place where guests can sit to put on their shoes and socks - a "slipper chair" in fact if not in name. The seat is nicely but firmly padded. The color is listed as "Crimson" but the chair is actually a deep maroon, (more like the picture than crimson.) This actually works better in my guest room than real crimson would.
The chair is easy to assemble - it took me less than 15 minutes to put it together. Once assembled, it is solid and stable.
