I received 2 pieces of this collection a linen cabinet as well as a vanity sink in the Ivory/white finish. After unpacking both pieces had several finish imperfections paint chips and scratches that looking at them from far are not as noticible as when you give it a closer look. The antique design of the pieces are very classy and beautiful, but the quality of the finish leaves a lot to desire.
I won't be installing the vanity for another couple of weeks but looking inside the cabinet the shelf that comes built in is going to have to be cut out or refitted to acommodate the plumbing.

I had been looking for some time to find a bathroom vanity that was well built, at a decent price, and would not cost me an arm or leg for shipping... well Home Decorators Collection (HDC) came through. The Winslow Bathroom Vanity arrived in a box that was well packaged, and without any damage to the cabinet, marble top, or sink. I had originally estimated that the vanity would cost me about a third of my bathroom remodel project budget, however because of the great value we were able to drastically upgrade the other materials being utilized on the project (marble tile, light fixtures, etc.)... by doing so we ended up with a finished bathroom project that is nothing short of a commercial spa! Thank you HDC!

I am sorry to say I am most disappointed in the overall quality of this product. I consider this to be an expensive piece of furniture. Had I known the quality ahead of time I would never have bought it. The granite top is very nice but the quality and workmanship of the cabinet leaves a lot to be desired. Where the hinges attach they just forced the screws in and split the wood. Screws were also put in crooked. The finish is sub par. I was expecting some real craftsmanship for the price I paid. It was made in China. I will try harder next time to verify it is built in the USA.

I waited 4 months to get this cabinet as it was on back order. When it finally came it was delivered by a guy who was high and had no personality. My husband wanted to check the granite top before the guy left as the item was the only box on his truck and it was laying flat like it had fallen. The top was fine but when we removed entire box and set the cabinet on the floor it was apparent that one leg was shorter than the rest. There was a long crack in the 'wood' along the moulding up near the granite top. There were runs in the finish and the hinges had been tightened so tight that they had begun to cracked the door. We ended up donating it to Goodwill. I will spend an extra $200 to get quality wood next time.

I was in the market for an old style vanity and cabinet and I caught this vanity on sale. For the price the value is great. The top is beautifully made and should last a lifetime. the vanity is mdf construction using paint techniques to give it the look of antique furniture. While it is by no means fine cabinetry work, i didn't pay 10x the price and it fits my bathroom on a budget perfectly. Installation is a little time consuming with the shelf location being so close to the trap and a basin wrench for pedestal sinks is needed for the tight area on the faucet.

I purchased online, the lady that helped me was extremely helpful. The vanity was exactly as describe by her. It had an overflow drain was full assembled, all wood and looks great in our downstairs bath. It was well packaged for the delivery. Even though the box had some scrapes and dents it did not get through to the furniture. I am looking at the new catalog they came with it, really has some neat items. The only bad thing was the delivery service they missed the first 4 hour window and had to reschedule, which they made the second chance.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Margclp What a beautiful piece of furniture, really nice! I have the mirror as well. Keep in mind that this is a much higher vanity than the one your are replacing. Also, because it is so high, if you order the mirror, make sure you have enough room in your bathroom. If you are short, you will never be able to see yourself in the mirror. You need to leave several inches between the vanity and the mirror and then you have a drawer on the bottom of the mirror. You should be at least 5'5" or else you will not see more than your eyes in the mirror

This 'sink in a piece of furniture' is the centerpiece of a remodeled master bath. Along with the oval mirror, the smaller lingerie chest AND some HDC lighting, it forms a bathroom that looks like it came from a small but elegant hotel in Europe! I ENJOY it every day!! The sink cabinet is taller (a great surprise and very welcome) than I had expected (even though the measurements ARE provided!). The only somewhat negative aspect of the design is that it has no drawers; I overcame this by using acrylic lift-out trays from the shelves, which has actually turned out to be a GREAT move as everything stays organized and I only have to bring out what I need at any given time - we all learn new things… I purchased the pieces I was going to use in my Bathroom Project several months before actually beginning the work. They came packed in form-fitted hard foam and, in the case of the sink cabinet, on a wooden palette which kept it raised from my garage floor whilst awaiting installation. Amazing to be able to get such a complicated shape shipped around the world and arrive in PERFECT condition! Bravo!!
