We needed a large rug for our new home. We wanted to keep it simple so we chose the natural fiber zig zag rug. Even though it is a large rug at 12 x 15 feet, it is simple and pulls the room together. Only when you are close to it do you notice the zig zag pattern. It definitely gives the room texture with the natural fiber elements and simple pattern. We have only had it for a few days now, but we are enjoying it and so are the dogs! My only concern is how well it holds up to three large dogs and three teenagers!

Nice pattern and feel (for a jute rug). It looks great. You get what you pay for here. I don't expect it to hold up for long.

This is my first "jute" rug purchase. With the exception of the knots that you find in a natural fiber rug, it's very comfortable to walk on, not itchy or scratchy. I bought the natural color and the cotton is more prominent than the jute so the rug is more cream in color than the picture indicates. It's best to put this rug on a thick rubber/felt rug pad. A simple nonskid pad isn't really enough to keep the rug from moving and the thicker pad gives it more cushion. I have this rug in a room where I am not moving furniture around and it doesn't get a lot of foot traffic. I'm not sure it would work well in a dining room where chairs need to be moved frequently. I also didn't want a rug with fringe. I looked at a lot of stores for a natural rug and this is a great rug for the price. I've only owned it a week so I'm not sure how it holds up to a lot of vacuuming. We have non-shedding dogs so I'm not sure how it would do in a home where rugs are vacuumed multiple times a week.

I love this rug! It really brightens up my Master Bedroom, and is a great neutral! I was looking for something that was neutral but not totally plain, and the zig zag pattern gives it just enough style. The jute mixed with the cotton feels better on your feet for a bedroom than a 100% jute rug. Hope it holds up well. So far so good!

I love this rug - purchased the 12 x 15 (I needed a large rug, and I got one!) the color is bright and love the design. Some of the other reviews spoke about 'pulls' with the rug, what few I have are not an eyesore and I personally think give the rug a nice look (old fashioned) - very pleased with my purchase.

I am using it in an entry way. It is much thicker than I had expected. Love the zigzag in the natural. It is light but the variation will help hide any soils between cleaning. I am going to purchase another for my kitchen.

I put this in the powder room, where I have a Navajo weaving on the wall, and it worked out great. It has a handmade feel and look, which is what I wanted. There were a few bumpy knots (where they tied ends of jute yarn together) so I just pushed them through to the backside (instead of cutting them).
Like most rugs it comes rolled up, so I rolled it the opposite way for one day prior to placing it. You do need a nonslip pad on tile floors.
It was difficult to figure out the size of the zig zags by the picture. The width of each V shape is 3" wide x 2" high on my 2' x 3' rug. The chennille is rich red, the jute is beige-brown, and the thin cotton yarn is cream.
I thought it was a good price for the product.

I am not excited about this rug and will send it back if the shipping cost is not too high. The zigs and zags are much bigger than pictured - the strands of chenille and hemp are bigger than expected. The rug looks more ethnic than classic, good for a porch rather than a kids room. I ordered the neutral color. I should have listened to previous reviewers - it is rough underfoot, and not in a good way. The hemp feels knotty and nubby and the softness of chenille is lost. It has a seagrass smell that I assume will fade over time. Not a soft rug for children to play on. I may move it to my sunroom, but I'm not excited about the rug and will return if possible.
