The rug was very easy to unroll, and took less than 24 hours to uncurl.
It lays great and looks great. The various colors really allowed us to be flexible in the paint we chose. It works well with both black and brown furniture pieces.
My only suggestion is to get the rug holders, as it does slide around pretty easily on hardwood.
It cleans great with a vacuum and is durable, as we have pets and it shows no signs of pets whatsoever (minus all the toys they pull out onto it!).

I do love this rug however the colors are nothing like they look online- there are slate tones and no blue it's actual colors are tan, greyish brown, dark brown and white- other than that it's good quality.

The rug looks nothing like the picture - in a good way. The colors are chocolate, taupe, grey/beige, and off-white. The rug looks absolutely amazing paired with either blue or dark brown couches/furniture. I am pleased with the quality of the carpet - has withstood normal wear and tear over the last few months being vacuumed numerous times. I would recommend adding a rug pad under the rug for a little more cushion - but it's not needed.

I found this rug on one of my regular trips to Home Depot while I was fixing up my house and instantly fell in love with it. Then I dawdled on buying it and had to go to a couple stores to find it when I finally got up the gumption to fork over $200 for it. I bought the 8'x10' size (as opposed to the smaller 5'x7') and have no regrets about the purchase.
The pile is of the velvet/plush variety and is reasonably soft to the touch; I'd say that this would be a good carpet for a family room where kids would be playing on the floor. The pile is also pretty tight so larger speckles of dirt or debris sit on top of it. It would take a bit of work to grind things down into it, I think, but you never know how it'll stand up to families.
At the borders of the colors the pile is cut out into a decorative V-shape which adds a level of detail that I found pretty interesting when I first bought the rug and laid it out. I've noticed that a lot of rugs have this detail now.
Regarding the colors as shown online, the carpet colors are dark brown, cream and two tones of grey, NOT blue as shown in the photo. I'd classify this as having a more neutral color palette. If you're hoping for a blue tone to the rug you'll be disappointed - it's DEFINITELY a gray-toned rug!
Overall, I love the appearance. Installation was as easy as cutting open the plastic wrap and laying the rug out (I had no problems with curling edges or anything like that). The quality was higher than I expected it to be, and the price was high, but I loved the rug too much to not buy it and I'm very glad I did.
