We selected this door for a 27 inch closet opening. Since the door is only 27 3/4 inches, we were able to remove some interior trim pieces and install it, despite the irregular closet size. Any difficulties we had during installation related to the irregularity of the closet opening. The door looks great. The composite material makes it durable. The finish will definitely stand up better than a standard wood door. The composite frame did mean that trimming down the door to meet the irregular opening was impossible, but it all worked out. The instructions for installation were good. All the requisite tracks and hardware were included, even a basic knob. It looks great and I'm sure it will stand up for quite some time.

These doors were easy to install. Just measure your opening and buy the doors that you need. For me, I have an unusual opening. I thought that I would have a problem since doors are usually 30x80 or 28x80 or 24x80 or whatever. My opening is 58in. Then I thought find a door that comes in 30x80 and 28x80. It looks beautiful and no one knows, but me and now all of you.

This door looks lovely and made an instant improvement to my room. It comes with every thing you need to install. Very simple. Just screw in top track and lover bracket, put door in and attach knob. I love the wider louvers. Plantation style, made my closet look much cleaner and modern. The finish looks very nice and the Golden Oak composite looks much like "real wood".

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kellen Nice functioning doors
These doors are made of PVC, which make them an excellent choice for anywhere that might be humid. The louvers help keep areas ventilated, so I'm glad I went with this for access to my furnace in my basement. And the 3" louvers look nicer than your typical solid wood bifolds. I also didn't have a lot of space to swing a big door, so it was very convenient to be able to use two of the 18" bi-fold doors for a 36" space, meaning the doors only needed 9" of clearance to open. These doors were worth every penny.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by SHAustin It's a door, alright!
I've put in several other closet doors that were less expensive than this brand, and this door is slightly better quality. In all honesty, I bought this door as it was the only 28" while louvered door I could find - if I were to purchase more closet doors, I would likely purchase the less expensive brand rather than this one as the quality is not notably better here.
I also am having an annoying problem with the "opening" side of the door - the door fits into the track with a peg on a spring that you push down for ease of moving the door onto the track. The peg is shaped like a top hat, presumably to stop the peg from going to far into the track and dragging. However, the rim of the top hat (forgive the description, I'm not sure what else to call it) now drags on the edge of the track, causing the door to stick. A small annoyance that I'm sure can be remedied with some googling and time, but still an annoyance that I don't have with my other (cheaper) doors.

These bifold doors were easy to install and work fine to hide the laundry area. My only issue is that they are bright white so I will have to paint them to tone them down. The white doesn't match the Navajo white on my trim. I wanted wood, but they cost more than I wanted to pay. These will do. I will be using my own knobs instead of the ones included once painted.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PAGSMG PERFECT for my broom closet and looks upscale
We recently purchased an older home that needed a lot of cosmetic work. I converted an extremely small pantry in my kitchen into a broom closet. The door on the closet was a bi-fold that had been painted many times and had tiny, dirty-looking slats. No amount of paint nor sanding would help that door so I ordered the new, larger slats, bi-fold door. It's absolutely gorgeous and immediately updated the look in our kitchen (which is also under renovation). It made such a great impression on our neighbors, whose homes are similar to ours, that several have asked "where did you get that door? It looks awesome".
