Answer:
We recommend a mixture of distilled water and denatured alcohol (32-to-1, respectively) and a microfiber mop/cloth as the cleaning tool. You can also try using brand-name cleaners like the Bona brand Tile, Stone and Laminate floor cleaner (spot test before complete use).

Hello Laura and thank you for your question.
You can install the Home Legend Brazilian Cherry Engineered Hardwood Flooring over radiant heat under several conditions:
If there is underfloor heating, the concrete subfloor must not exceed 84°F and the moisture content must be less than 1.5% (CM method).
There are special installation instructions that will need to be followed when installing the flooring:
1. You will need to turn off the radiant heat for a week before installation.
2. After installation, turn the heat on and steadily increase the heat daily until the floor heat is comfortable (desired temperature). For example, if you want the floor to be 70oF and the floor is 60oF, increase the temperature 2 degrees daily. In less than a week, the floor temperature should be where you desire. If the change in temperature is significant (more than 10 degrees), the change will need to taken place slowly to allow the floor time to acclimatize.
Installation Instructions for the engineered hardwood flooring can be found here: http://www.homelegend.com/pdfs/Engineered%20Click%20Wood_Installation_Instructions_06-01-10.pdf.
You may also want to contact Home Legends Technical Support at 1-877-630-1800 for more specific concerns when installing your new flooring over radiant heat.
