Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beav Worst decision we have made
As with other customers we now have blistering in areas. We purchased approx. 1200 sq ft of this wood for our new renovation and are so disappointed. Everything looks so goo in the new reno except the wood floors.
We also purchased cherry wood from a wholesaler for our stairs. the installer stain and installed the stairs and we have had no issues.
Love the color but we are out somewhere between $10K - $12K for product and install.
We do not know what to do or where do go if Home Depot is unwilling to assist.
Also like the other reviews this wood scratches so easy and impressions from heavy items will leave an indent. We bought cherry for the hardness rating and color.

I put this in my brand new home, worse decision ever. it laid down easy and looked beautiful for about a month. it scratches unbelievably easy but thats not why im so disappointed in it. After a month the prefinished started bubbling and peeling off, everyday I see a new board that looked fine a few days ago look destroyed. Home Depot has sent two flooring inspectors out so far and although they can't tell me what's going to be in the reports the look on their faces after seeing it says it all. This is not a hardwood floor this is basically a particle board with a plastic/laminate finish over top. it really disappoints me because I like the color and look that it had when it was first laid down

Within days you could see spaces between the wood. A few floor boards lifted. The finish started bubbling and peeling on a few other boards. Manufacturer sent someone out to look at it. They agreed to replace it but did not want to pay for the installation stating "the humidity caused the problem". Home Depot graciously took care of that.
When they started to put down the new floor the installer said he could see the same issue and he had opened several boxes. With half a hallway completed he stated if he did any more work it would null and void a replacement. Bottom line now we have to pick out another floor. And did I mention this has been going on for 6 months and at of the moment I have plywood in my dining room, foyer and downstairs hallway waiting on Home Depot to figure out this horrible situation and it has been well over a week with no fix. Unacceptable.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by jama38 Brazilian Cherry
I currently have Brazilian cherry in the living areas of my home and wanted to install hardwood in the bedrooms. I looked for Brazilian cherry that would match what I currently have. I ordered a sample before placing my order and the sample matched what I have. The actual flooring is much darker as others have said. Also, the installers used goo gone to remove access glue from the installation. Now the floor has a film on it that I can't get rid of. I plan on trying a buffer to see if it will remove the film. Don't know what the manufacturer used to get the dark finish, but that finish appears like a peel-off coating on the wood. I have sent an email to Home Legend to see what they recommend but so far haven't heard back from them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ToddF Installed a year ago - so far so good
I purchased and installed this flooring a year ago and am very pleased. I had no warped boards, and no pieces that were unusable due to color, cut or any other quality control problems. The wood is heavy and dense, so I had a few nails that bent during installation, but that's to be expected.
A year later, it is wearing like you would expect any quality wood floor to wear. It takes a lot to dent or scratch this product. I had a window fan fall off a ledge and left no mark. I have no major visible scratches, and we wear all types of shoes in the rooms.
I am going to purchase more and complete the entire upstairs with this product. It looks great, will last way longer than carpet, and the cost is very reasonable.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nila Dents very easily
It's not even been a week since we installed this floor. The top layer has peeled off in several places and my kid dropped a plastic(!) hairbrush from the counter top, it dent the floor, not just scratch, actually there is a dent. The top layer looks like laminate, and not very strong. Unlike normal hardwood floors, this can only be refinished three times. Have to say, this does look great in my living room, but not very good for utility area like kitchen. This product is not usable at all. Please dont waste your money
