Answer:
The floating floors are relatively easier to install than traditional nail/glue down floors, and they allow more room for error and correction. Plus, since they are only semi-permanent, pieces can be removed and replaced if the need arises.

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wood is peeling off the boards I purchased the flooring for 800 square feet of my home. However I have about 20 spots where the top layer of wood is peeling up and separating from the board. You can feel it with your feet as you walk on it and its easy to see. I don't see how I can fix the peeling without tearing out the bad boards. I've been told this isn't a warranty issue so I'm stuck now having to repair the issue or pay for a contractor to come and fix the problem. Needless to say I'm not happy and wouldn't recommend this flooring given the issues I'm having and the amount of money I spent on the flooring. December 17, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by peels, dents, scratches We paid a good price for this floor and it looked great!....for about 2 months. Right off the bat it started peeling in a couple of spots. Then everytime you drop something it leaves a big dent. We have felt pads on all of the furniture and an area rug. It still has big, long, scratches in it. I have never been so disappointed in a product and the warranty doesn't cover any of this. Home Depot you need to discontinue selling this product as it not a durable product and it makes it look like you are selling junk. Don't but home legends flooring. It only lasts about a year. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product looks good when it is down. I needed to buy a product for about a dollar a square foot to go underneath the flooring. It's a floating floor that goes down easily, but the product needs to be cut with a chop saw at the end of each row of planks. The finished product looks good. I used it to floor a walk-in closet.
