Floating click-lock pro’s:

2. With the correct underlayment, can be installed over many substrates and/or existing floor coverings, ie concrete, plywood, particle board, glued down vinyl/linoleum, etc.
Floating click-lock con’s: 1. Require transition strips at doorways and areas larger than 35' ft in any direction. 2. Recommend a high quality underlayment to prevent a “hollow” sound.
Nail down or glue down pro’s:
1. Do not require transition strips resulting in a seamless installation.
2. Each plank is secured to the subfloor allowing expansion and contraction to be localized.
Nail down or glue down con’s :
1. Additional cost of adhesive and/or labor
2. Installation cleanup and potential finish damage as a result of glue becoming in contact with the right side of the product.
3. More restrictions on appropriate substrates.
Review installation guidelines for each product for the details - appropriate subfloors and differences in installation preparation. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great flooring! This is a great flooring, I have just put it in my second house (rental that I own). We've had it at our home for a year and a half now and it feels and looks great - very happy with it! July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a great floor I completely disagree with a previous review - we bought and installed this flooring in our $600K house in April of 2015 and we love it - the look, the feel and durability. June 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible!! I only have his floor a star because I had to. This flooring is more like painted plywood....we picked it up brought it home opened it and had it taped back up in minutes there was not even a thought of keeping it...do not waste your money! May 10, 2016
