Yes, you can have the flooring glued to the tiles. Use a urethane-based adhesive and ensure that the adhesive is compatible with the material the tiles are made out of.

Answer:
Dear customer, particle board is NOT a structural subfloor material and is only manufactured to be used as a Inexpensive underlayment filler sheet on top of the main structural subfloor material to raise the height of carpet to a desired level.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and easy to install. No splitting of product during installation. I replaced my carpeted stairs with this floor. I am pleased with the result and there was no splitting even though I face nailed it with 16 gauge nails (at the stair landing). I predrilled with 3/32nd and face nailed some of the planks at the stair landing. I blind nailed the tongues of the planks by hand with 16 gauge nails with no damage. Of course I predrilled these as well. The planks have some color variation amongst themselves which is what I wanted. Dont just go by the picture shown on the website. The color varies but the patter is the same. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Floor!!! The floor was easy to put down and looks beautiful. We had very little scrap and only five damaged boards out of 25 boxes. This looks and feels like a much more expensive floor. April 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Squeaks and crackles after 6 mos This flooring looks great and is really good in hiding scratches when marked with a stain pen. I would be extremely pleased with it if it weren't for all of the squeaking and crackling sounds it make when you walk across it. I'm about ready to call the store and have them come out. It has gotten much worse. The contractor called the manufacturerer to verify the size and spacing of the staples because he didn't think it was sufficient, but Home Legend assured him it was. We also have a whole house humidifier so I know it's not because it's dry. December 9, 2012
