Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Easy To Install Looks Great Installed appx 400 sq ft, in Master Bedroom, Closet, and Hall. Looks excellent, easy to install, little waste. My recommendation is to get a Brad Nailer, I used the Freeman PFBC940 4in1 Mini which was online at HD. This lightweight small brad nailer made the job a breeze. My first engineered floor I finished in about 10 hours start to finish. Some progress pix attached. October 11, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing durable flooring especially with animals! This hickory floor far exceeded our expectations. The color is beautiful and the finish is durable! We have 2 dogs and researched for months to decide what the best option would be. We love hardwood but were worried about scratching. The professional installer completed a 362 sq foot room in less than a day and said it was easy to work with. We opted for a glue down and are 100% satisfied with that decision. Quiet to walk on. One issue was the molding suggested on line turned out to be a laminate and not wood and the color was not acceptable. We returned them with no problems. We had our installer make some to match and another issue was shipping, the deliver service wanted to drop of a pallet in front of our house without removing it from the pallet. The driver was more than curtious and worked with us as we were going to refuse shipment if the flooring was not at least removed from the pallet and placed on the porch if they would not deliver inside. which by the way they do not. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous! We chose this flooring as the focal point of our major home renovation project. We absolutely love the floors, they look beautiful and our contractor said they were very easy to work with and there was very little waste. I am thrilled with this purchase! February 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent and very durable I was very torn trying to figure out what would look best in our house and would hold up well. I am so glad we went with this for the floor. I have a large (75 lb) dog and 2 kids. This has held up great since I installed it a year and a half ago. It did have some creaks at first. This may have been due to the type of underlayment or uneven cement. It has pretty much disappeared after a few seasons. Would highly recommend. Plus it looks amazing. The color is very rich. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install, looks great, EVERYTHING SCRATCHES THIS FLOORING Bought this flooring and installed it in a kitchen, family room, and sun room. It looks great and was the easiest floating floor I have every installed. The only major problem is that everything and I mean everything scratches this floor. We have installed felt pads on all furniture legs and have tried to protect the large high traffic areas with rugs but any little dirt or grit that gets on the ends up scratching it. Even a cardboard box that was set on the floor and slid a couple of inches put scratches in the floor. These scratches are white hair like scratches which can be seen due to the dark color of the floor. Like the product right up until we tried using it in every day life. April 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very nice Looks amazing upon completion, piecing together is not complicated, but time consuming and labor intensive... hence why there is a flooring installation trade in itself. Looks as good as floors that cost twice as much when installed properly February 19, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It doesn't actually look Handscraped. If I had seen it before the contractor installed It doesnt actually look handscraped at all. If I had seen it before the contractor installed it, I would have sent it back. I bought this house with Handscraped Hickory in the LR/DR so I matched Home Depots to it. The existing flooring has ridges and character. This has color changes but no ridges or anything. It is totally smooth. It doesn't match the texture of the other but the color is a fair match. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice flooring, just cheap lookin moulding Love this flooring. Looks great and after over a year it still beautiful. The one gripe I have is that the transition accessorie mouldings for doorways and meeting the other flooring are very cheap. I would expect real wood that matched the look of the floor. Instead is contact paper on pressed wood. Very disappointing. September 30, 2013
