In the information for the base board for this product it states the baseboard will cover the expansion gap. The thickness of the base board is .5 inches so the expansion gap should be less than the thickness of the base board. Is this correct?

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Yes that is correct, recommended expansion gap for Home Legends engineered hardwood flooring is anywhere in between 5/16" and 3/8" which is lees than the thickness of the typical baseboard moulding.
Hope this helps.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love it!! My pro installer had some trouble dealing with the dips and undulations of my subfloor(vinyl) but the end result looks amazing! You might want to see if you can get a sample of the color because it is a shade or two darker than the images online. August 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Flooring We have installed lots of flooring and this product was by far the easiest to install. It looks beautiful on the floor; we installed it in the TV room, a bedroom and the hallway. Most of the house is fairly dark so the honey maple color really brightened up the rooms. Love this! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product. Beautiful color with easy installation makes a great combination. Pieces are pre scribed on back side for easy cutting in half or third. Out of 26 cases, only 2 boards were damaged. October 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice floor everything about the flooring was great, just wish it had a little more shine to it February 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking flooring This flooring looks excellent when installed. For even tone, order ample supplies in one order. I ordered the flooring in two separate orders and it didn't match. February 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Product-lengthy install As others have mentioned, despite the product description saying "random length planks", all the planks are three feet. Having gone through 16 boxes so far, I doubt if my last two boxes will be any different. If you decide to glue the floor down, just remember it will be a rather lengthy process. A 15 by 19 room has taken me at least 40 hours to glue down. Due to the 3 1/2 inch plank width, a 15 foot row took me 20-30 minutes to glue down. Over the years I've installed approx 10 rooms of wood flooring so this isn't my first rodeo. The floor would have taken me a day (8-10 hours) to instaIl if it was a floating floor. Gluing the floor down takes a very long time-be prepared. I've probably spent $300 on glue so far. I think the floor will be worth it in the long run, but its probably the last floor I'll glue down. Perhaps using a wider plank would reduce the time. You also have to let the glue dry 24-48 hours before you walk on it. And purchase the $12 tongue and glue block. You will use this block to hammer against to slide the plank into place. Without the block you will be dead in the water. I've probably used it for 99 percent of the flooring I've installed. I still have 9 inches of flooring left to install and it really hasn't gotten any quicker the more I've put the floor down. July 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Different from what was sold last year While still a good product the item has changed from 5/8 to half inch thickness necesitating a threshold to hide the height difference from my other 3 rooms , also now a nail down not floating floor not a real improvemant in my estimation December 23, 2012
