Hand Scraped 3/8 in. Thick Click Lock Hardwood floors are sealed with a 7-layer aluminum oxide finish, providing protection from everyday wear. This product has achieved GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification and has been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, to meet these standards. Answer:
In my experience the color will change slightly, we bought some a year apart and the first lot was noticeably lighter. If you don't lay it you can mix the cases up but personally I would buy it all in one go.

Kevin, if you are just buying it twice and not installing it in two different times you should be alright. Always remember to mix up your planks from all your boxes as you lay them down. This way the color variation will blend in fine. I put this same floor down over a week ago, I think you are really going to like it. The boards have some nice grain to them. Good luck

If you have other rooms separated from main area then I think you could purchase that flooring at a later date. I didn't notice any color difference in the boxes that I purchased. I bought half in stock at the store and ordered the other half and had them delivered. I did this within a couple of weeks. I was

I bought a box to see how it will look. I noticed the pieces have some waviness. There are two raised areas in long direction of each board. Is this intended?

Answer:
Rocco, as long as you use a good moisture barrier first and then your underlayment before installing your floor. Remember to let the 6 mil barrier go up the sides of your wall, you can trim it after the floor is down and the baseboard trim will go over it and hide it. Good luck.

A Floating flooring with underlayment tends to be squishy when you walk on it, and of course it moves because its floating. This is not noticeable to most people but you should be aware of it.

A underlayment designed for "floating" engineered flooring is recommended. Underlayment helps to smooth minor subfloor imperfections and does reduce noise. We liked the color of the sample in the store but when shipment arrived, the color was slightly darker. I used glue and it went down very good. Glue was messy but flooring went together nicely. We didn't expect to see so many knots but although they look ugly if you look at one plank, but when the installation is done, the overall effect is ok. We had about 10 planks out of 500 that were damaged by shipping. the ends of the planks were crushed from being peshed to hard. We used them for cut pieces and it worked out ok. Wanted all wood but the price was higher. this flooring looks like wood but its a high density composite materal.

Used to make a floor pad for over carpet at an office desk. I used a 3/8" plywood base, installed the hardwood flooring on that using wood flooring adhesive and framed the whole thing with hardwood trim.
Looks good, wife loves it. Would get 5 stars except the top hardwood veneer is thinner than some competitive brands but they also cost more so, all in all, this flooring is an excellent value.

I love the warmth of the color and the different texture (going from worn our ceramic tile). I bought the product that had a little industrial use rating so I don't have to worry about all the walking on it. Plus I have 2 dogs (60 lbs each) that people warned would be hard on the floors. I haven't seen anything that shows an issue for the future.

This flooring is phenomenal. My husband installed this in over 1200 SF of our home (nearly our entire downstairs). He had some assistance from a friend's dad who has installed flooring all of his life. He was so amazed by the overall look,and just kept complimenting it over and over. We nearly thought he was going to install it in his own home!! It is durable, dents or minor scratches blend in as part of the rustic "hand-scraped" appearance, and the maple color goes with everything! We are truly ecstatic and feel like every day is Christmas! Everyone who sees it comments on how it looks like "ten-million" bucks, not just a million!! We are so happy we made this purchase, the seams are super-tight, and secure. The flooring feels so much better than laminate under your bare feet. We could not be happier....well, maybe if we install it in our 1600 upstairs portion as well!!!

Flooring was uniformly good. No waste other than trimmed pieces. It looks great. Had to go to another source for the trim pieces I wanted but they match up well.
