The floor was very nice looking, easy to install but now has crackling sound when walked on.. Home Depot top underlayment used and floor in place for several days to adjust to home temp and humidity.

I installed this flooring in my loft bedroom and on the stairs (with a white bead board riser). It looks great and was pretty easy to install. The longest boards in the box were useless because they were warped, which was unfortunate because I didn't want lots of seams on the stairs but it all worked out and I truly love the result. Easy to scratch is a downfall.

This product was a breeze to install. It looks great. The only drawback is the time it takes to get the materials.

Product looks great and installed OK if you know what you are doing. The starting line was a little hard to implement, do to the longest boards being bowed. I didn't notice this right away and had a problem lining up the starting runs. After I noticed my long boards were bowed I could adjust to the problem. Once I corrected for this the install went very well. The click lock was easy to work with and the color variation is great. There are only four sizes to a box of 24 sq ft. so laying out your floor pattern is advisable. Depending on your install skill level, a low of 6 % to a high of 10% waste factor should be considered.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy123 Don't buy this product!! We have the 3/4in SOLID HARDWOOD
We had this installed in November, first try at installation the boards were cut wrong from the mill and they had to send out all new flooring. Ok that was good they responded so fast, BUT, they didn't send enough so had to use the good pieces from the original order to finish the job. This was installed by professionals. Fast forward to March, the wood started to "bubble" on many of the planks. Had to call Home Depot and try to get this rectified asap. After having the floor inspected by a professional floor specialist and chemical tested they sent the installer back out to fix the boards that were defective and fix the gaps that was also noticed during the inspection. Well 2wks later the installer came to fix the issues, there were many many more areas that started to bubble. The installer went into the box of the leftover material that was left here from November and noticed those boards also had bubbles in it. After numerous phone calls between the floor specialist, managers, supervisors, the installer and Home Depot finally came to an agreement that this was indeed a manufactuer defect. So now in April we have to pick out a new wood floor and have it installed, we were happy with the color of this flooring but now we are back to square one picking out a color and ect. Please save yourself the headache and don't buy this product or possibly any product from this company. If you do have this product check it closely because it starts out small and then gets so much worse as you can see in the picture I uploaded.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by minnie20 Looks great but installation was tricky!
I assumed the planks were one size but each box had 3-4 different sizes. When I thought I had the pattern down, the next box did not have what I called size number 2. So that totally goofed up my pattern. What should have only took 3 hours to install, took me over a day! most of it was due to the frustration of piecing it together so the planks stagger and not stack on top of each other. Hesitant to order more to complete my living room and kitchen. Overall, the floor looks great and elegant. I have different colored walls in each room and the floors compliment every color very well (purple, cashmere, yellow, blue)

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by CoastalCathy NOT worth the money and effort.
Floor wasn't too hard to install. However it is not acting like true hardwood and can be spongy in places if you use anything but the glue down method and the thickest option. My biggest complaint is it scratches SO easily and I haven't found anything that will work for a touch-up. There is some kind of sealant on the surface that even felt tip marker pens made for wood touchup won't work. I'm having to buy new vacuum cleaners especially for wood floors to keep the scratches to a minimum. Also had to put felt on everything in the house. VERY hard to keep clean. It shows every hair and piece of lint. Water marks are hard to get off, so I haven't found a cleaner that works yet. And the floor is quite slippery, so if you have flat soles on your shoes or are in socks, beware. You can literally ice skate on this floor. I wouldn't do this again. Trust me, don't bother. Install the ceramic tile that looks like wood and you'll be much happier. Same warm look, not nearly the maintenance.
