Answer:
The patterns on these floors are a VERY thin film/laminate. While the cork will last and is quite durable, there is a good chance that the dogs will scrape the "look" off the top of the flooring (this happened to me) if you don't keep putting extra coats of polyurethane on every year.

Because of cork's lack of density, it has more potential to indent than other flooring materials. It would bre recommended to get an office mat for the chair with casters, and to trim the nails of the various dogs short plus file their nails to round/oval tips. This will Read More

I would like to install this in my bathroom. Is that ok? I heard you should put two coats of polyuerethane water base on it in bathroom install.

Answer:
The cork flooring is a great choice for a bathroom setting; it is soft to bare feet, naturally water resistant and mold resistant, and it is a floating floor, so it can be taken up and reinstalled, in the case of an emergency. Plus, our cork products already have three coats of polyurethane on the planks.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by More difficult to install than advertised. Nice looking flooring, difficult to install because of the locking tabs delaminating July 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Install Just put it down. Time will tell. Good so far. You just have to be careful when handling the pieces of floor, as the edges of the cork will chip if you knock them up against something. April 24, 2012
