I installed this flooring on a small 14x11 study. I did not want to float the floor as I don't like the hollow feeling of floating floors, so I glued this to the concrete foundation. Installation was pretty smooth after a couple of rows of gluing. Floating this floor would greatly simplify the project. The bamboo surface on this flooring is about 2 to 3 mm thick and is very hard. I tested many samples for scratch and dent resiliency, and this flooring won by far. A few of the boards were damaged during shipping, but I was able to use them on pieces that I had to cut on the ends. Very pleased with the floor so far.

Have done 2 out of 3 bedrooms so far. Makes my other wood floor look bad now. Extremely easy to install. Instructions have you installing from left to right, but if you cut the tongue for your starting wall, it lays in easier going from right to left. This means you lay the piece into the long area and it just sits down on top of the tongue for the short side. Using an 80 tooth finishing blade on a 12" miter saw for smooth cross cuts. Regular blade on table saw causing minor splintering on ripping. 3000 hardness rating is very nice as we have pets. Only flaw I saw was some of the "lock" pieces on the tongue have come off in a few areas but really didnt affect the total board.

I have never been so disappointed. After installing the floor, within a week we developed an oily film NOTHING will clean. It reappears approximately 24 hours of cleaning it. We contacted the manufacturer who had no idea how to clean it, we tried every option and/or cleaning they recommended. After several complaints an inspector came out to examine the floor. He was a JOKE!!!! He barely addressed the oily film and the report was based on a few scratches around my kitchen table, but commented we did have felt pieces on the furniture. He told us the only cleaner to get rid of the oily film was industrial and could not be purchased at our local brick and mortar stores, leaving the only way to clean is on my hands and knees every other day. After three years of fighting, a ton of money poured down the drain and chronic back and feet health issues, I AM STUCK WITH THIS FLOORING.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Homeowner Looks good. Poor quality.
It looks great. In a matter of months after install, we have had to remove the flooring twice due to warping and the pieces separating. The product also looks dirty within a few days of general home use. Needs to be cleaned constantly. We have a subfloor under the install and have not had similar problems with other flooring products.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Doc101 Great product. Easy to install (if you have a good electric saw). High quality
I replaced 160 square feet of old carpet over concrete with this product. The product was very easy to install. It does help a lot if you have an electric table or miter saw for trimming the boards to the correct length (I did). There were only 3 bad boards in 9 boxes of this product and two of those were used where I had to trim the long direction to fit against the wall. I intend to buy this product again to do my bedroom.
