Answer:
The answer to this question depends on the installer. If Home Depot is contracted to intall this, they can only glue it down to have the warranty remain. If you, or an installer independent of Home Depot install it, then you can float it over the plywood. Since this flooring is designed to be floated, it would be best, if possible, to float it.

Answer:
There is a good chance that the floor will not creak when you walk on it. Creaking, particularly consistent creaking, should be properly investigated.

Answer:
Installing in a bathroom is not recommended. Bamboo is sensitive to moisture and humidity which can damage the flooring. Extra care would be required to prevent damage. Keep in mind that any damage cause by moisture is not covered by manufacture warranty of the flooring.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great has some noise but is getting better Floor went together good .Out of 26 boxes I found about 5 pieces that had damage and I used them at ends and didn't have to scrap them. If you pay attention and sort out colors you can get a beautiful blend on floor. Most people that see floor thinks it is Hickory. It does not look like Bamboo .Has some noise but is getting better with walking on.My hope is floor will remain as beautiful as it is now . January 14, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, but noisy It looks great, I love the solid feel when you walk on it. The only negative is that it is noisy. It cracks and creeks under every step. The first two bedrooms seam to have gotten better after some furniture where moved in and a few weeks went by. But the big master Bedroom is still verry noisy. December 4, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would not use! Had the floor installed, there was clicking in the floor. The installer glued the boards together and within a year the boards shrunk, causing gaps in the flooring. I would not reccommend this product at all. Very dissatisfied!! September 1, 2012
