This flooring is beautiful and was very easy to install. I installed about 500 square feet of it (with some help on the difficult cuts) in 1 day after never doing it before in my life. It has a pretty consistent look (not alot of variation) which is what we wanted so it wouldn't distract from the rest of the homes wood and decor. The shipment came quickly and I haven't had to toss any boards because of damage. I haven't finished laying it in the rest of the house, and have not had it in long enough to comment on the scratching. I would recommend pads for all your furniture legs, and as with any darker flooring it will show dirt and dust easily so be prepared to clean/dust on a regular basis. The color has a bit more of a reddish tone and sometimes even a purple undertone to it as opposed to the photos online. You can see this in the photos in contrast to the walnut cabinetry.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Ross Hard flooring, easy to scratch
I've had this flooring in my house for about a year now. It retains its initial beauty, and I have not noticed any buckling or creaking. I do however, agree with some of the other reviews here that this flooring is EXTREMELY easy to scratch. Dogs (I have three) are fine on it, but if you don't have felt pads on your furniture feet and/or accidentally scrape something across it, it will scratch. I have found the best way to fix those are either with a stain matched wax pencil (you can find these at Home Depot in the paint department) or just some stain itself. Once you apply either, the scratch is 'gone' to the naked eye.

I just finished installing this product in my dining room. I will do the living room next. There were a few boards that I had to discard in the 11 boxes that I ordered because the boards lacked stain in spots and were unusable. Overall, my scrap rate was just under 6 percent in a perfectly square room. The boards will warp when you acclimatize them, but they are still usable and will be straight after installation.
Also, I modified the installation and installed the not recommended "H" pattern repeating through the room. I think it looks better than the random pattern and I am pleased with my choice and the results.
A couple of recommendations:
1. I opted for the TrafficMaster underlay rather than the slightly higher priced product with styrofoam pellets. It would have been a mess!
2. Initially, I bought a cheap 10 inch plywood blade for my miter saw. It was a mistake. After two cuts the blade was toast. Make sure that you use a carbide tipped blade.
3. Get a dust mask and make your cuts outside. The fine dust goes everywhere.
4. Make sure that you lay out your boards so that you end up with a half board or more on your ending wall, especially if there is a doorway. I trimmed my first row board width so that I had 75 % of the width on my final row.

Very easy to install and the color is great (it has more of a reddish tint than the online picture) . This product is durable (we have a 17 month old and a large dog) and takes abuse without scratching. Use pieces from multiple boxes during the install as there are color variations among the boxes.
I recommend taking a sample piece to ensure it will work in your home.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Quickbike Nice wood! Buy 10% Extra Square Feet
Just installed it this weekend for around 600ft2,, looks perfect, installation was easy given that I floated it. I bought 30 boxes and 3 boxes full were either damaged or just badly colored, which was around 10% of the planks. Had to reorder more.
Still, they look great. I will try to give an update later.
