The click joint technology found on this Teak Natural 3/8 in. Click Lock Hardwood Flooring is a no-glue, floating floor suitable for installation on, above, or below grade.
Your bathroom is classified as a wet area; prolonged water exposure could damage your wood flooring and care must be taken. (Note: Home Legend flooring panels are not recommended for extreme humid applications such as in saunas or swimming pool areas.)
An expansion area of 5/16" – 3/8" must be provided around all vertical obstructions including walls, permanent cabinets, pipes etc. All perimeter expansion areas must be completely filled in with a water repellant (silicone based) sealant. Let dry for 24 hours before exposure to water.
Complete instructions for installing Home Legend Floating Wood Products in a wet area can be found on page 4: http://www.homelegend.com/pdfs/2012/HDF%20Valinge%20Click%20Wood%20Installation%20Instructions.pdf.
