What GLUE should I use with the "Home legend Wire Brush Oak Toast 1/2" thick x 3-1/2" Wide Random Length Engineered Hardwood Flooring? I currently

have a broken cermaic tile embedded in concrete on grade. The tiles were purposely broken for the initial installation probably in the 80's. The floor is solid with no cracks or expansions breaks. I want to ensure that whatever glue is used, that the warranty will be honored. The current tiles and cement grout are level and secured very well. I want to glue to avoid that "hollow sound" you get from a floating floor.....

Answer:
A recommended adhesive to use would be the Roberts 1509. It is a urethane-based flooring adhesive, designed for the use you have in mind. You may also want to look into other urethane-based adhesives, such as Bostik's Best or Bruce's MVP.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Floor - but Not Random Lengths Installed 7 cases of this product in the upstairs hallway. Product is very nice and easy to install. The tongue and grove of each piece fit without any problems. The only down side was the description said it was random lengths, but they are all the same. Have only had it down for about a week now so I can not comment on how well it will hold up. Do not buy the stair nose they recommend for this product. I would recommend you purchase a solid white oak stair nose and stain it to match. April 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice floor High end look. Very nice satin finish, slightly rustic looking. Warm tone. Installed easily with flooring stapler. Lengths could be longer, but looks fine with attention to joint stagger. December 8, 2015
