Product Overview

Home Master HydroPerfection is our flagship model under sink reverse osmosis system. It contains the patented Full Contact Remineralization technology found in the Home Master Artesian Full Contact, the IRON pre-filter and UV sterilizer found in the Ultra model with a non-electric Permeate Pump added to reduce water waste by up to 80% and increase water production by up to 50%. The HydroPerfection solves many of the problems associated with traditional reverse osmosis systems. Traditional reverse osmosis systems are destroyed by iron rich water, and do not treat microorganisms or chloramines. The Home Master HydroPerfection contains a mixed media pre-filter with KDF85 and catalytic carbon to remove iron, manganese and chloramines. Home Master systems use larger fittings and tubing than traditional reverse osmosis systems to double the water flow rate. The Home Master uses all-in-one modular filters for increased durability and easier annual service. Home Master HydroPerfection Reverse Osmosis System delivers exceptionally pure water by first stripping the water clean, removing up to 98% of iron, chemicals, chloramines, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals and dissolved solids using reverse osmosis, sediment and catalytic carbon filtration, then channels the water through the ultraviolet light chamber to sterilize 99.99% of microorganisms. With 9 stages of filtration, purification sterilization and enhancement the HydroPerfection produces exceptionally pure, mineral water on tap.

  • A better reverse osmosis system - Home Master HydroPerfection's innovative design solves the most common problems associated with traditional reverse osmosis systems
  • Highly pure water - removes up to 99% of iron, chemicals, heavy metals, sediment, and other contaminants, and sterilizes 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms
  • Added minerals for great taste - its patented full contact technology adds calcium and magnesium minerals twice during the purification process
  • Well or city water - included iron pre-filter protects reserve osmosis membrane, UV filter destroys microorganisms, permeate pump maximizes limited water pressure
  • Long lasting and easy-to-change filters - change only once a year or 2000 Gal. filter changes are quick and painless no wrenches require
  • In the box: assembled purification unit with filters TFC membrane and pump, storage tank, 3/8 in. feed water adapter with shut off, chrome faucet and adapter, 110-Volt power supply, drain saddle

Customer Questions & Answers

Does the tank make noise while it is refilling?

I bought a britta reverse osmosis water filter and it makes so much noise when it is refilling that I have to return it, does this one make noise?
Asked by: josie
When the tank refills you will hear a low hum of the system and the trickling of the wastewater down the drain. It is so quiet.

what are the dimensions of the holding tank?

Asked by: Jerry
Roughly 12" diameter (maybe closer to 11", but it's hard to measure a cylinder under the sink.) x 16" high.

Can this unit integrate in to an existing faucet? Or do we need to set up the additional faucet provided with the unit

Asked by: Gravitarium
you really need to set this system up independent of your normal water source. You will not want to use this to system exclusively due to capacity limitations

Does the drain pipe need to be lower than the RO unit? How long is the included drain tube?

The drain pipe I plan to use may be at least a foot higher than where I plan to install the RO unit. Will that be an issue? I'm not installing it under a sink, but rather in a cabinet adjacent to a bathroom where there is a sink I can tap the drain to. How long is the included drain tube?
Asked by: Pogi
There is no indication in the instructions that I saw about the drain pipe needing to be lower than the RO unit. The drain tube that comes with the system is at least 3' long but I only needed about half that (or less). Since I had no vertical section available in our sink drain, I needed to use the method provided with using a horizontal drain pipe. This still worked flawlessly. The RO drain tube appears to use pressure for the drain so I doubt that any normal vertical distance to get to the waste drain will not be an issue for this system. BTW, there is an on-line video for this installation (You-tube). That would probably answer any of your questions.

The water is the best water that we have ever tasted. Our ice cubes are now crystal clear! We have had the filter for about one month. It was relativity easy to install, except we had to run power from behind the dishwasher so that took a little extra time. Power is only needed for the UV light. I mainly wanted to filter out fluoride, but this RO system offers so many more benefits, including adding good minerals back into our water, having only 1 gallon/gallon of waste water, and the fast flow (so fast!). Using the water reports from our municipality, I calculated fluoride toxicity to occur at only slightly more than one gallon per day. I drink about a gallon per day so I am relieved to be fluoride free!

We have used Berky Filters for 5 years. I love the Berky system, but we have too many people in our family, and someone is constantly having to refill the Berky. I have researched RO systems for two years. My two primary concerns were the following: First, I have had water from other RO systems that taste so denatured. I assume the stripping of all minerals leaves it a bit harsh tasting, almost like distilled water. Second, I DID NOT want a system with a slow flow. There is nothing more annoying than taking 2 minutes to fill a cooking pot. The Home Master system has perfectly addressed both of these concerns. With the mineralization cartridge I can honestly say that my entire family LOVES the taste of this water. It is smooth and refreshing and never leaves that sour feeling in your stomach. Next, the flow of the filter is POWERFUL and fast. It will fill a pitcher as quickly as my primary sink faucet. I can't tell you enough how pleased I am. We installed the purifier two months ago, and it continues to please all of us. In addition, I can add a few other comments. The RO system installed easily. The videos were so helpful, although there are a few details of installation that the video seemed to miss (maybe our model was slightly different than the one being demo). So be sure to watch the video AND read the instructions, and you can't fail. It operates quietly and refills so quickly. As soon as you dispense the water, you hear the little hum of the purifier. The design is well conceived. Quick connections make it easy to connect and disconnect the purifier. Everything is color coded so there is no confusion which tube goes where. I LOVE that there are no canisters to hold the filters. Those canisters always seem to harbor bacteria. This is simple, self contained and clean. A little over a month after we had purchased the Home Master unit the company representative called me. WHAT!! They actually called me to see if we were happy, if we needed anything, or if we had any questions. This is unheard of. We need more companies that care about their product. Usually you call them, AND you still can't get anyone to help you. Jocelyn is GREAT! She is so enthusiastic and friendly. Her customer service is great!! You will not be disappointed with this decision. I am planning to get one for my in-laws. They are still hauling 5 gallon jugs from the market. Thank you for helping my family. Until our municipal water supplies are safe from contaminates and fluoridation, we will rely on this company to help.

The Home Master was difficult to install and my husband knows how to work on plumbing. We had to change some things and so we watched the videos only they did not show enough for us to do the job ourselves and had to have a plumber come out. That bill was almost as much as the unit itself. So bottom line is I think we will like it but beware of having an additional cost of a plumber. Need to update videos for this system. Pictures in manual would have helped some.

It's still sitting in the box over in the corner. The "system" doesn't come with any protection. So once I found out I needed a water pressure regulator to protect the "system". I had to order that and it's not here yet. So like so many other expensive self destructive things you can purchase online, it's up to you to provide for the warranty. And if you putt too much water to it, there is no warranty. So it may be the best "system" in the world (even though it doesn't include a regulator) but it's still sitting in the box over in the corner. What do I think of the "system" (other then it's missing something)? Apparently that doesn't matter. What matters is not hooking it up correctly and then inadvertently blowing it up and then having to buy another one cause it's not covered by the warranty.

Product arrived fully assembled, installation instructions were clear and easy to follow, installation was a snap. We did order a different nickle plated faucet to match our existing hardware as well as the ice maker kit and extra tubing due to the distance to the fridge. That was easy as well. Overall and fun 45 minute project... The flow rate with the larger diameter tubing is as advertised, much better than my older Culligan system. We've had it in use for a year now and haven't had any problems and are enjoying great tasting water and the peace of mind with drinking filtered water. Be aware, the pump does make some clicking sounds as it operates. It's not a nuisance, just something to be aware of...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you only need clean water The system is like a ball of yarn, a cluster of filters and lines, for the price of the system I would expect better mounting hardware and faucet. Water is really clean and comes out really fast.
