The auto angler plow is an adequate plow for the area I live. Southeast Michigan does not get a lot of heavy snow falls. Mostly 3 to 6 inches withan occasional 12 to 20 (rare). The plow does a decent job and for the money it is pretty good. If I live further North where overnight snows of 12 -15 are not uncommon, this plow would be a bad choice. Too flimsy. Single point attachment to the truck is not sturdy enough for big snow country. The reason I bought this plow was I did not have to have a heavy commercial plow bracket and heavy duty front springs installed on my truck if I would have gone with a commercial plow.
Its OK but not great.

I've had this plow for a few years now. It works as described but it is somewhat fragile. You do not want to run into anything with the blade or it will bend.. I have replaced mine with a rubber blade. Anyone used to a real plow might have trouble adjusting to this. It's great for a nice new level driveway and or a few simple plows during a storm. It is light and easy to move around and keep in your garage.. I think garaging this is a must.
The cons are the quality of the materials used in some areas. The black enamel coating has completely rusted off the hydrolic reservoir metal panel. The pull chain has turned to 100% rust.. The reservoir had to replaced for a leak in two places as it will crack easily if hit in cold weather. Parts are easy to replace and install though..

I purchased my plow approx. on 12/20/10 The plow arrived in a timely manner along with the mount that I had to purchase and order separately.
It does come with the Yellow markers you attach to it so you know if it is up or down etc. when operating it. It works well overall.
I would recommend getting a rubber scrapper for the lower part of the blade as I plan to do and possibly the snow shoes which you need to order seperately also but through Meyers.
This plow works well overall. I would recommend this plow to most people who need it for small parking lots etc.
You may want to consider a snow delector for the top.
I am considerinng obtaining one but we haven't gotten that much snow yet so I am not sure if I may need to get one or make one for it.
It's just a thin hard rubber that goes along the top that keeps the snow from going over the plow.

I bought this plow in DEC 2012 It arrived very timely I was surprised. The hitch bolted on my S10 very easy. I have a
dirt drive and hilly in spots. The plow is light and bounces
all over. The auto angle is very poor design for a dirt drive.
It angles back and forth all the time. Maybe a tension adjuster on cylinder would help.I would not recommend for dirt drive.Probably good for paved drive

This plow did not work even though it was brand new. Called Meyer they told me remote probably need new batteries. How can you ship a product with dead batteries? Auto angle is terrible and the electric motor is no reliable mine plow is only 15 days old and does not work

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Edwin Expensive and cumbersome
Very expensive, requires an expensive hitch, probably Class III or IV, a large storage space, and if you don't have it installed before the snow arrives, you won't be able to roll it into place, etc.

I really like the plow,It works well, but, I would think a new plow comes with the shoes included. and some way to hold it up besides relying on the piston to do this safely, even a short distance.
