Answer:
If you don't plan on moving it, you can leave the wheels off. But the cart is pretty heavy. After mine was assembled we had to roll it to the kitchen and lift it to take it up a step. It was manageable even though it was heavy but i would not want to be moving it around without the wheels.

Answer:
Depends on how tall you are. Leaving off the wheels makes it a few inches below counter height, as in awkwardly low for many. Either way, the wheels aren't necessary, just convenient.

Answer:
No, not a bad idea. I thought about it myself. but you WOULD need to make some custom fixed legs for it that are about the same height as the wheels, just like you would for your own sofa.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. There are no issues with leaving the casters off this unit. I would likely use stick on levelers to insure the item is level.

Sure, if you scuff sand it. But then why buy a lacquered oak cabinet. Buy something cheap, instead. OK, cheaper.

Answer:
Ask your local paint dealer what they can do for it. It has a poly finish over all of it. You'd probably have to sand all of it some and prime it to make it work. I don't know about a kitchen counter sort of paint you'd need. That paint would take a beating if you use it in your kitchen.

Answer:
The product can be painted, but it would require sanding for paint to adhere. Alerting the unit however, would void the warranty of the product.

Answer:
You could by drilling new holes, but I'm not sure the original holes would all be covered up. The short answer is they are asymmetric, and thus are not directly swappable.

Answer:
The holes for both the spice rack and towel holder are predrilled. The hole placement would be different for each accessory. You can drill your own holes, but the existing holes would still be visible.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Very pleased with the whole process. Kitchen Cart was exactly what we wanted. Easy assembly as all the parts were marked so that the instructions were simple to follow. August 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this! Honestly, I first wanted to build an island. They're just so expensive. However, we were moving into a smaller house area, and I really needed another counter. We also needed a dining room table. This hit two birds with one stone. I didn't realize how much more storage this island added to the kitchen as well! This was fairly easy to put together, but it did take me about 5 hours by myself. Mind you, I have never built anything before and my drill died midway through. I think it is beautiful. I would have liked to stain it, but I ran out of time and now it is in use every day. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for our needs This is an excellent value. The manufacturer has made assembly relatively easy. The components are generally of good quality and the design is good. So far we are enjoying the extra counter space and cabinets. Really happy with this purchase. The only complaint is that the drawers are not deep. I had hoped to use the drawers to store kitchen tools (spatulas, wooden spoons, etc.) but they aren't deep enough at all. A standard length kitchen utensil will not fit even if inserted diagonally. The drawers do work well for measuring tools, and peelers, but bare that depth in mind when making your purchase. January 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great item but finish is incorrect. The kitchen center is very well made and functional, however, the finish is not what was advertised. Very disappointed but my husband had put it together before I saw it so we are going to have to refinish the wood. Not sure if I would purchase online from Home Depot again. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value Looks great, great value. enjoy the extra drop leaf when I need the extra space. March 22, 2016
