I love this island. We've had it for about 3 months. Its GORGEOUS in color. The wood on top is a very rich oak, the bottom isnt STARK white, which I love. Its great quality. Cant get enough of it.
PS: It took my husband 45 mins to put together. Not quite sure why it says 2 hours..... :/

Love it! It has a lot of character - the doors and drawers open on both sides. It was really fast delivery - 2 days !! Easy to out together - what maybe an hour! Some are reporting there are gaps, we don't have any - I think it's the way they out it together- we put it together no problem at all. Doors and drawer opens easy- it's solid- heavy wood! It's just so cute! I can't figure out how to add my picture to show you:-(

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cookininthekitchen Adequate-sized island for work surface and storage.
Overall, a nice addition to the kitchen. Product was packaged well, but there was still a cracked piece. Company sent a replacement within the week. Assembly wasn't too hard but some of the pieces didn't fit perfectly together. On one side there is a gap between the shelves and one post, which is a disappointment (see my photo). Accessing the drawer and cupboards from both sides is a good idea, except that the easy-glide drawer has no metal track but instead is lined with felt pieces on the bottom edges of the drawer. The drawer therefore has some side-to-side motion which makes me wonder what kind of wear may be evident in time. I'd also have some concern that if the drawer was pulled out too far, that it could fall out and cause damage. I do like the look of the island, however, I have not had it long and the oak surface seems to scratch easily. I am wishing that I had purchased an island with a more durable top for a work surface, so am in the middle as far as recommending it to others. Since there is only a yes or no to check, I'm marking it as a "no".

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ADMay Study. Beautiful. Great buy!
My husband bought this island for me for Christmas. It arrived, with free shipping, in 3 days. It took an hour to put together. It is absolutely beautiful. It's study and heavy. We worried that leaning on it would slide it across our tile floors. It has to be an intentional motion to move this thing. It is the perfect size for our kitchen! I agree that we will likely replace the hardware for something that is more expensive looking. If I had to find one complaint/suggestion for it, it would be to delete one shelf from the sides of the island design. While they are attractive, they are pretty short and I am having a hard time finding anything to display there. Other than that, we love it! Definitely worth every penny!

This island fills the space in my kitchen perfectly. Putting the island together was a project for my 12 year old son and his friend. I supervised as they read through the directions and put it together with ease. This may have taken just over an hour to finish completely.
While it's great the drawer can be pulled from both sides, there is no stop to keep it from sliding completely out. This is why I gave 4 stars.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ernest Amazing value
This kitchen island is a terrific value. It is very sturdy and solid. Assembly was easy. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble. One of the feet was missing the threaded insert so I called their customer service and they shipped a replacement foot out right away. Great customer service. We love this new addition to our kitchen.

It was hard to assemble and not all the pieces were used. It looks good but is very heavy and hard to move. I wish it were better priced and easier to assemble.

Read instruction carefully completely per section before assembly.
