Putting this thing together I had a few veins popping out of my forehead and some angry outburst moments because the instructions were not very clear on which screws to use however once it was complete it looked amazing in my kitchen. I bought some alternate knobs that were nickel for the cabinets and drawers and it matched my kitchen perfectly. Saved so much money doing this rather than having professionals come in and put in an anchored down island. Probably saved 2000 bucks. Best part is it is not anchored down and I can move it wherever we want.

The overall quality is low. Typical expectation from furniture produced in China. (didn't know before purchase)
The wood had a few signs of damage (from pressure likely from straps in the box for shipping).
The 2 granite pieces are easily stainable. A water ring is present from the bottom a a glass, and we are unable to wipe/clean even with granite counter top cleaner that works on our kitchen countertop.
There is a 2nd stain we are not sure as to the cause. Unable to scrub clean.
After 2 months of use, the sliding leg on one side had the plastic rail pieces crack/break off. The slide leg can now be pulled completely out w/o the stop point, which still works on the other leg.
(We have left the leaf in up position with legs slid out since setup, rarely using the legs in and out other than during initial inspection for working parts)
The set up was easy for 2 people with experience putting furniture together. Wife and I completed in 2 hours.
Overall, poor quality, and only fair to average score for price, only because we got in during online clearance sale which was less than regular price.
I have bought other $500-$1000 priced furniture from China with better quality from other stores. This piece is "too big/time consuming" to take apart/sent back for replacement. Such a hassle. I would take a small refund/rebate if available/offered from Home Depot, however.
I would not purchase this for >$1000 original price. It will serve its purpose, and is aesthetically pleasing for now. Will likely need replacement in a few years from minimal use/wear and tear given low quality.
