Door handles are normal size so you could purchase different handles.

Asked by: RFD
Not heavy at all. The casters do not have to be put on. Might make it easier for a child to tip over though.

What are the dimensions of this cart?

Can you please provide specific dimensions for this item?
Asked by: SueB
The cart is only about 15 inches wide and 42 inches long. The granite top is about 18 inches wide and 44 inches long. Once you add on the towel holders on each top end of the cart, it will be approximately 53 inches. That measurement is just on the top area of the cart. Please note these measurements are approximate, but very close. I hope this answers your question.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 9100-1064 Large Create-A-Cart in Cottage Oak with Black Granite Top 1st The beginning diagram showing the placement of wheels was wrong. 2nd I got all right wheels with no left wheels so one of the locking mechanisms in on the inside and one is on the outside. No big deal, but still took some figuring on how to place them. 3rd The hinge on the right door was a hair too high and the door would not slide onto the hinge once the top was secured. Had to lift the top up and force it in place. My suggestion is to keep the doors on, then set the top on. 4th I am not a do-it-yourselfer, handicapped and doing it alone took me 3 days to complete this monster. I would gladly pay extra for ready-made furniture, but it is impossible to find these days. 5th The inside drawer sliders had a screw that wasn't screwed in. The drawer was catching so I tightened it. 6th The finish on some drawer faces are a little darker, but not too noticeable. 7th There were holes drilled in the back pieces on the top that had no use. They are almost not visible, so not a reason to knock off a point. 8th Hard to find waste bin to fit. Inside dimension is 13.25W x 12.5D x 28H OK for the good points 1st the color was almost exactly spot-on to the original cupboards. 2nd The granite top was in perfect condition and no chips or cracks. I would have liked information on how to keep it spot free with a few referrals. 3rd The imperfections in the wood were not too noticeable, scratches were very small and can be touched up easily. 4th I've had many compliments on how beautiful it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WONDERFUL KITCHEN ISLAND The wife has wanted an island for the kitchen for a long time. I found this one online and the description sounded like the one we wanted. Ordered it and received in it a short amount of time just before Thanksgiving. It was easy to assemble, only needed help when time to put the top on. It is just what we wanted. Plenty of storage and the grqnit top is easy to keep clean. It was a wonderful addition to the kitchen and mad things a lot easier for us at Thanksgiving as we had 40 family members at our home. I highly recomend this product as it is solid wood, not the pressed sawdust that many are made of. Easy to assemble with extra screws and othe items included.. The large casters make it easy to move aroumd.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AWFUL! The cabinet is beautiful but the granite counter top has come broken TWICE. We're still waiting to hear back about a THIRD try. Allegedly we were going to get a phone call today about it. Still waiting and its 7 PM! I wish we could say we had success with this, but so far all we have is a headache from it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my cart! Excellent kitchen cart/island. The size is perfect. Construction and packaging of the cart was out of this world. Not one scratch anywhere. Assembly took about 2 hours with 2 people. The color of the wood is warm and the black top goes quite well with my counter tops and appliances. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Midlevel Island Assembly was fairly straight forward. The island itself took less than 45 minutes, another half-hour or so to put together the drawers. Glad to have a helper to place the granite top, and equally glad I had UPS bring the boxes inside for me. Be forewarned: there is a ton of packing material, including a wood crate/frame for the granite, and endless sheets of messy styrofoam. Getting rid of the packing was a bigger chore than assembly. This is a middling grade piece of furniture, decent finish on a lower grade anonymous asian woods and a nice enough granite top, although it doesn't stand up to really careful inspection. The hardware is cheap, especially the hinges. Sturdy enough for use, but wobbles a bit on its wheels. The size is nice -- about half normal countertop depth -- deep enough for prep work without getting in the way. All in all, a suitable piece for a modest to mid-tier kitchens, but would be out of place in a higher end home.
