Can u ues it to paint the outside of the house

Asked by: Red
Of course! That is what it is intended for. Painting indoors could be problematic and can only be done safely with plenty of ventilation.

Can this be used inside homes?

Asked by: Jack
yes. if you have not laid carpets and wallpaper yet. otherwise it could get messy. you could attach something like a Graco JetRoller Spray Roller System W/Inline Gun/Extension/Cleanshot and forego the mess.

How long is the hose that comes with this.

I need to know the length of hose from unit to gun.
Asked by: Marley
it comes with a very good 25ft hose. if you need another bit you can buy a graco or wagner hose or even a knock off. i think 75ft is the most the pump can fill. i use 75ft (25ft & 50) and it woks perfectly.. the gun comes with a swivel so you will love your hose. if you buy a graco i think they come with the needed connector, my titan did not i spent $5 on the connector.

Obviously not a product for smaller jobs, due to the prep time and clean-up time involved. I would have given it 5 stars for the really good results it produces and the amount of time saved on big jobs. But the instructions are sometimes unclear and confusing -- and it seemed to me a couple of times contradictory -- , and we had a really frustrating time before getting it going. The trouble with instructions is that they are made up by someone who knows the product intimately, and, in writing the instructions, (s)he unwittingly makes assumptions and or leaves out steps which are not obvious to the beginner. They should be written by someone completely unfamiliar with the equipment, trying to figure it out step by step -- under the supervision of someone who knows the product, so that subsequent user don't have to go through the torture of trying to make sense of it. And DON'T call a part by 2 different names at different places in the instructions!!!

I was a little apprehensive after reading the safety warnings, but I was able to follow the directions, and had a great experience painting my fence. I estimate 5x speed compared to roller and brush. I used three 5-gal buckets in about 3 hours, covering 2700 square feet with solid stain. I did this on three different mornings, before it got too hot. Took about an hour each time, to thoroughly clean the nozzle and filter. I recommend using a spray shield for edges you don't want covered. I didn't wear long sleeves, but wish I had, because it took a lot of scrubbing in the shower to get paint off. Wear goggles, mask, and hat. The sprayer had plenty of pressure for the thick stain I used. The dial was not on max. to get a good spray pattern. There was some technique to keep the hose from kinking, but the built-in swivel was good for this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for the price! I bought this sprayer to paint the exterior of my home. I watched countless videos on airless sprayers in general and felt pretty confident about using one. I chose this one in particular mainly because of the price. It arrived early and in great condition. Assembly was very easy. I watched the homeright youtube video on how to prime the machine (several times). I strained my paint but did not thin it since the paint I used said not to. This made me nervous because it was very thick paint for brick/masonry. The machine didn't seem to have any problems at first. About 10 minutes after starting, the sprayer would not stall after I let go of the trigger. In other words I painted one section and then the machine kept running and running even tho I wasn't spraying anything. I turned the machine off and read the trouble shooting part of the manual. I tried unclogging the tip of the sprayer but that wasn't the problem. I then decided to just flush out the machine and re-prime it. A bit of a hassle and I wasted the paint that was in the hose but it did solve the problem. There must have been a small clog somewhere. Unfortunately this happened about 4 other times while painting our house. It is hard to regret this purchase when it saved us thousands but it was frustrating at times. Perhaps it was just the type of paint we were using. But hey, I am definitely an expert now at priming and flushing it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good, Very useful This was gifted. Weather was finally good enough for me to really use it and I am really pleased for a number of reasons. First and foremost it's not a throwaway like the comparable graco's because homeright sells a pump rebuild kit. Second its a well made unit from a company that has good customer service. My first sprayer was a graco nova 395 so I know for sure this painted my deck and house just as well, since i am retired i did not want to spend that much again. I use the graco rac5 tips and use the wagner push on gun filters so the consumables are easy to find and get. the manual is ok. Its easy to clean. be sure you peel off the little label over the oil hole underneath. take your time and clean it and be sure and oil the pump before you use it and after you clean it and daily if you are on a run.. the directions are easy enough to follow on that point. The gun has a swivel feature that works once you attach it to the hose. i became alarmed and contacted them and they said attach it to the hose and it works great. that's how i know they have good customer service to clean it i use either pure minerals spirits or -100 rv anti freeze. the -50 is really not a great choice because water dilutes it. i bought a gallon and it takes about a qt to soak it inside. it protects from freezing and lubes the orings. either the mineral spirits or the Propylene Glycol will offer equal protection, cleaning on the otherhand is based on paint type. I used it on my deck and on the exterior of my home. it did a great job and saved a bunch of money, had some fun and its all clean and protected and ready for next time. it paid for itself. i bought a 30" graco extension and that really saved my back. I am going to buy a Graco JetRoller Spray Roller System W/Inline Gun/Extension/Cleanshot that will cost way more than the sprayer. i am old and stiff and when i get around to repainting inside of my home the sprayer and the roller will make it happen. so add versatile to the list of good sprayer stuff
