Sprayer is easy to use with or without the cup. It comes with a hose to pull paint right out of the can. There is plenty of adjustment for an project.

Sprayer worked well right out of the box, spent a lot of time trying to get unclogged ,paint needed thinned much more than paint manufacturer recommended.. When it worked it was great, I was painting an additional coat to building with T111 siding so the surface was rough. Had to stop as sprayer nozzle broke and couldn't be repaired and a new one had to be sent from sprayer manufacturer as Home Depot did not carry nozzle at the store. All in all it was quicker than painting the building with a brush. I would recommend the sprayer conditionally that purchaser better be prepared to spend some time working to keep it operating.

I own this Paint Sprayer, and have used it several times. The unit is versatile, and comes with both the paint reservoir as well as an attachment to connect it to a gallon or 5 gallon bucket. I gave it a 4 because I am not much of a painter myself, and the unit does intimidate me somewhat.... It is well made, easy to set up and easy to clean.
I needed to get paint thinner for the sprayer to work the best. You can find thinner next to the paint sprayers in the isle.

When I first decided to buy an airless sprayer I told myself that the sprayer had to be simple to use and most of all simple to maintain. I read the two reviews, at the time, and based on their short and succinct replies I decided to take a chance on this product. I could hardly wait to receive it. When I did receive it I was amazed at the large amount of care and detail(s) that needed to be followed to keep the sprayer working. There were also too many working parts, that as mentioned on the instructions sheets, would damage the sprayer if not inserted correctly. One part didn't fit at all. I'm still trying to figure it out in my mind.
Based on the above mentioned I did the math and figured out that it would take three times more time to clean/maintain the sprayer than the time it would take to accomplish the job. I had planned to use it for mainly touch ups and re-paints nothing major.
