I bought this because of the chesp price, i should know better, you get what you paid for.
Charged it, used it, it ran out of juice before i could finish. Fine. Charged it again, began using it, about 2 minutes into trimming the grass, i noticed it not cutting right, like something was missing. I looked at the shears and to my suprise i saw the center blade of the three blades that do the shearing, the center one had sheared off, leaving a 1 inch stub, so now a good part of the shearing function is gone. Unbelievable! Im going to take it to the store tomorrow, see what happens.

This works great for me. Love the safety feature. If only it had a 3 ft. handle I would ditch the grass string trimmer. Sharp cuts great,

Easy to use. Does a good but charge doesn't hold too long and takes too long to charge after each use.

Easy to use & cuts well, but batteries do not last long even though I take very good care of this product by cleaning blades after every use. Even spray a dry lube on blades to cut done on the resistance.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by dblsecretprob Poor battery life, Homelite provides poor rude response to questions about battery life
Would not hold a charge with the 180 ma charger provided. 2 notes written to Homelite about expected battery life were 1st, completely uninformative, 2nd attempt, rude, told me they could not give me an estimate, just to charge it several times before it would reach full capacity and that's all they would tell me, even though I asked what ma/hour capacity the batteries were, basically, sorry that's all we're telling you. Interesting to note this is another formerly American company now owned by Techtronic, a Hong Kong based holding company which owns many brands including Milwaukee.
