This piece fit my trimmer perfectly. It seems to be "universal", not just for one specific brand.

If tightens up at all, bolt strips plastic trying to unscrew with any force !

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Helper Not even close
Went shopping for a bump head replacement on my Toro trimmer. Lots to choose from.
Came across this item. Package said it was for a curved shaft. Stated it was for a Toro and a few other trimmers.
Went to put it on, not even a close match.
Waste of time.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lan Stripped after only one season of use
The inside of the plastic knob that held the screw bolt in place became stripped after less than a season of use, rendering it useless. Poor quality.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Knightlingbugg these things are designed to fail quickly
Of course the bump knob wears out, but these have been designed to capitalize on that quality. The thin ring around the tip wears down much more quickly than the originals and these things are a bit pricy to keep buying. I get about a year's use out of each one and I have a modest yard to trim. The original lasted several times longer. The one in the picture is about a month old. The nut retaining disc will be the next to go, but that won't stop me. I will use it until it literally falls off the trimmer head, which will give me my year. Would it be so hard to make the wear ring a lot thicker (and for the same price)? Unfortunately, there is no easy substitute, so I keep buying these.
