Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT BUY - defective design Bought this one to replace one bought 3 years ago at HD made by a competitor apparently replaced by HD. This one by Homewerks Worldwide has thinner sidewalls that collapse with even modest bending. December 14, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy this connector Hardly flexible. Kinks VERY easily. Even the others in the box at the store were kinked. Seems as though this was a bad design, or bad copy. It looks like my old connector which was very flexible, but this one will not even make a 90 degree bend without a serious kink that would severely impede water flow. June 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The connector was perfect for the heater Easy to install. Easy flexibility. Made a perfect connection. January 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed A bit expensive compared to other flex lines but if you want copper, it cost a little $$. May 13, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by These things are terrible I was repairing a leak elsewhere in the cold water plumbing to a hot water heater, which required taking off the cold side water heater connection. Since the old connector was off anyway I replaced both the hot and cold side on a hot water heater with these. I agree with the other reviewers that the tubing feels thin an flimsy, and will add that it is difficult to get a good seal at the plastic insulators in the ends and the rubber seals. The tag on the part says not to tighten more than one quarter turn beyond finger tight. I wrench-tightened exactly 1/4 turn and when I turned on the water. All four connections leaked dramatically. I kept tightening until they stopped leaking; most needed an additional full turn, and one never did stop leaking. I went back to buy another one of these, rebent to fit, only to find one end if it also leaked: first at the threads near the rubber washer and then at the plastic collar that insulates between the nut and the tube. Obviously I should have driven a bit further to get a different brand. November 12, 2013
