Extension?

Does the end on the right side of the picture have 3/8" male threads? (if you remove the nut). I want to use this as an extension for a 3/8" line that is too short. I need 3/8" female to 3/8" male. Will this item work?

3/8 in. O.D. x 3/8 in. O.D. x 20 in. Faucet Supply Line Braided Stainless Steel is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faucet Supply Line Extension I installed a new kitchen sink, only to find that the built-in hot water supply line was slightly too short to reach the shutoff valve. This is the only line carried in-store, but coiled well and solved the problem. 12" and 16" lengths are available for slightly less online, but it was worth paying more for this longer length to have the project completed today.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy to Find in Stock Needed an extension to water supply under bathroom sink. These are a little too long but were flexible and in stock at the Home Depot down the road. So they were relatively easy to install since I didn't have to reach up behind the sink for the normal water connections and hooked these up to the 16 inch connection hanging down and could easily align and reach the extra 6 inches I needed. Good product. Didn't leak, and helped finial=ish up the job quickly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 8 out of 26 supply lines leaked over time I purchased 26 of these supply lines in various lengths at Home Depot when we built our new house, thinking they were a premium product. I had 3 of them leak within 24 hours of installing, and took them back for replacements. I had another one leak after 3 months in an upstairs bathroom which we discovered when the laundry room ceiling started dripping. I replaced that one. We agonized over whether to change out the whole house, but after checking 26 of them regularly for a couple months and having no further leaks, decided it was just a few bad apples. Now, a year after the initial installation, we discovered water damage on our dining room ceiling from another upstairs sink, and when checking the whole house again, I found 4 more with slow drips. All 8 leakers failed at the crimp joint between the braided steel hose and upper fitting. At this point, I'm changing out the whole house to the simple grey plastic supply lines. So much for a premium product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive, no issues whatsoever I read one review claiming these leak. No idea how that could be. I have had no issues with this line. I use Teflon tape and tighten them appropriately. No issues to date.
