Don't you just love it when after finished working on toilets, sinks etc., the shutoff valve and/or supply line leaks? Happens here (house is 30+ years old) without fail and happened the other day after replacing the wax seal on a toilet.
Usually, I'd just tighten the relevant hex nut until there's no trace of water in a dry container placed under the valve. But in this case, the old bent rigid supply line would have none of that, and just kept on leaking after tightening several times. Fearing damage to threads, decided it was time to replace it with this product. Bought two more for the other toilets after seeing how well it worked.

I'd give it 5 stars but the bolts holding the toilet to the floor are capped off with a plastic nut. Other than that, great buy for the money

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by hmcnally SKU 457311 that's currently in stores is braided polyvinyl, not stainless steel
So I found this SKU in my local store, and it clearly wasn't stainless steel, and the label clearly stated that it was braided plastic. I scanned the bar code with the Home Depot app, and this SKU came up. Hey Home Depot: you gotta fix this... either don't list it as stainless, get the right product, or change the SKU/Bar Code association.
Oddly enough, my store had 1 unit that was a restocked return (hand-written label) with this SKU and it was, in fact, stainless. That's the one I bought. If someone from HD contacts me to tell me this database issue has been resolved, I will change the star rating to a 5 and I will recommend the product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheDIYGirl Replace Your Old Metal Water Supply Line
I recently had to replace the wax ring on my toilet. I purchased everything I needed at Home Depot. When I went to reinstall my fill valve, I found it annoying having to deal with the tiny metal water supply line that was originally installed on both toilets in my home. I went back to Home Depot and purchased this braided stainless steel line and it has been perfect. Not only is it super easy to install, but it is totally goof proof. I have completely repaired every part on my master bath toilet to date myself. Thanks for the awesome prices on parts Home Depot! You have saved me so much money.

I used this to install a toilet. It works just like it should by transporting water from the wall valve into the toilet tank. No leaks if installed properly!

Excellent replacement water supply hose. Very easy to install. Only other comment is that the hose is pretty stiff so it is a little difficult to force fit when the straight line length needed is short.
