Rated 5 out of 5Â by RichieRich03 Excellent oil
I only use Honda oil in my Honda mower and it is excellent oil. Easy to use with premeasured amount of oil needed in container. Would NOT use any other oil. Very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mike IF you want to properly maintain a honda engine. USE precicely measured honda oil!!!
This is a GREAT buy especially at the home depot. it costs virtually nothing except like what? 5 bucks? CHEAP! This engine oil is specifically formulated for honda engines and is PRECISELY measured for most small honda engines.. It's also interesting how they used a bottle that typically would hold power steering fluid. They did this because it's much easier to pour because of it's long neck into the engine without a funnel
I would only use this since it's precisely made for honda by honda.

I used this on a Honda lawn mower that I also bought from Home Depot. It works great, easy to use and is affordable.

First of all, I cannot tell you how pleased I am with my Honda! It starts in one pull, has a great manual, and cuts beautifully! I use Honda oil to protect my investment. Its ease of use is great and it provides the ultimate protection and lubrication.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chris A sure bet for any Honda product that specifically requires 10w-30.
There's not a whole lot that needs to be said about this. I bought a new Honda 4-stroke string trimmer a month ago from another dealer and it ran fine until today. I checked the oil and found that there was almost nothing left in there. Checking the manual I found Honda recommends 10w-30 (I use 5w-30 in my Honda lawnmower, so make sure you check your model to see what Honda recommends).
I was pretty happy to see Home Depot carries Honda brand oil. Is it better or worse than other 10w-30 products on the market? Those are questions I can't answer, but I can tell you that it never hurts to use the same brand oil as what brand product you're using (given it was probably designed around it).
All in all, unless you're a car dealership you really don't need a lot of oil. At less than $5 this is as inexpensive as it gets. The fact that you get enough oil to last you quite a while with a small engine and it's designed for easy pouring in tight spaces makes it a no brainer. FWIW, with some fresh oil and a minute of warming up my trimmer runs like a champ with this stuff.
