For a basic mower you couldn't ask for better quality and performance. It starts on the first pull every time, and the bag always gets stuffed to the max!
My only complaint, which is minor, is that the grass clippings build up in the hooks that hold the bag in place. This doesn't affect the performance at all, just needs to be cleaned out each time you empty the bag.
Overall I am very happy with this mower and would recommend it to anyone.

I have done some research on several different mowers and it was between Honda and Toro. I owned a Troy Bilt before and Honda mower before. So, I'm fully aware of the quality. Also, I read a lot of the comments and negatives ones too. I believe some people either good a bad mower off the assembly line or they didn't investigate and read the directions.
I'm satisfied with Roto Blade stop and it works great. I saw the advantages of the feature because I have to stop a lot with my yard, with sticks and stuff. If you can deal without that feature then honda mower below this one is the one to go with it has the most amount of reviews. My experience is great! This is a real review, I own it and bought the mower.

I've only used the mower a few times, however I'm extremely happy with it. Both times that I have mowed I've used the bagging feature and it picks up the clipping as you would expect. The mower was hard to backup when I first got it out of the box but it's much easier now as the belt is breaking in. I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this mower 3 years ago, and I expected quite a bit, it wasn't cheap. Toward the end of my third cutting season, I would not recommend. I've had to put the front left wheel on twice (if falls off), bagging capacity is so poor I gave up on it, and the tabs on the height adjuster fall off as well. Last night my wife was mowing for me and the self-propelled drive went kaput . I guess I expected more from a Honda.

I have tried many different kinds of mowers. This Honda has out performed others I have had. Toro has a poor bagging systems and craftsman just can't take the abuse that I put them through.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lance Good mower!
Starts just every Honda I've own before! It's I one pull dream.
It has plenty of power to mow tall grass.
The blade stop is must if you have younger kid with toys. It allows you to stop and pick up things as you go with out shutting off the mower. It's also nice being able to use the self-propelled feature without the blade spinning.
The one flaw that I can agree with some of the other reviewer's. The height adjustment tabs are too weak and will pop out if you're mowing on rough terrain . This can be quite annoying .
All in all it's a good mower and seems like it will last for a long time .

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AA1234 Wheels fall off
Bought this mower for the spin blade and the brand name. Runs OK but about a month after purchasing, the wheels started falling off. Front left falls off every time I use it regardless of me tightening it. Back tire fell off once and has been OK since. Had to apply thread lock to make them stay on....have never had anything like this happen, especially to a Honda. The mower I bought right before getting this one was a Craftsman and ran one time before blowing up. Guess I don't have much luck with lawn equipment anymore:)
