Rated 5 out of 5 by Honda replacement blades I am about to purchase my third set of these blades for a 14 year old Honda HRB216HXA mower. At present, Home Depot has the lowest price on these OEM blade sets and it is far easier (for me) to justify buying a new set of blades every year or two than to take the time and fuel to get blades sharpened. I'm mowing about 1 full acre of lawn almost weekly and the area has everything from thick grass to thick "ground cover." I pick up larger sticks, but lots of stuff pencil diameter and smaller gets mulched by these blades. They install easily and seem to hold up very well considering my willful abuse. June 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Also fits Honda Harmony HRT 216 mower. This set of blades also works on HRB 215, 216, 217, HRM 215, HRR 216, HRT 216 and HRZ 216 per the package. It installed in a snap on my HRT 216. July 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Set Of Blades,  Easy to Install and Perfect Fit After 5 years with the original set of blades, I managed to bend one of them (hit the cast iron cover of my gas shut off valve). So I had no choice but to replace them immediately. I was happy when I saw that my local Home Depot carried this set of blades after so many years owning the lawn mower. They were a perfect fit, and we're easy to install. Just make sure you have a torque wrench and good gloves. I hope I will get another 5 years out of these. August 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Blades Ever on My Honda Masters My Honda Masters HR215 (HR215K1SXA) only came with one blade, but I had added Honda's OEM mulching kit years ago. When it came time to replace the blades, I discovered that finding both blades would be a difficult and expensive task. Instead of spending a small fortune to get identical blades to the original parts, I tried this kit from my local Home Depot. I removed the spacer and replaced the factory blade and mulching blade with these two blades. The top mulching blade sits at the height of the OEM lower blade, and the lower blade of this kit sits .75" lower than the original lower blade. Both are still housed under the lip of the deck, and I simply subtracted .75" from the cutting height of each setting. I am now able to cut my Bermudagrass lawn at 1.0" and 1.5" rather than the factory settings of .75", 1.25", and 1.75". An early season mowing at 1" works better than .75" and 1.5" is optimal for mid-summer cuttings. These blades also last longer than the originals, with dulling of the blades happening much more gradually than the 2-4 cuttings that the OEM blades lasted. May 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Honda replacement mower blade just as it sounds this is a replacement mower blade which is really easy to change out. I recommend having 2 sets of these one on the mower and another set in the garage ready to be sharpened so you have no down time waiting for the blades to get sharpened. I would highly recommend filing off the black coating on the sharpened edge as it will improve cutting. Just enough to remove the coating. Remember not to get it razor sharp as the edge will just curl and make it dull again!! June 26, 2012
